Killing things and taking thier stuff...

Apparently Ghengis Khan had this down:

One day in the pavilion at Karakorum he [Genghis Kahn] asked an officer of the Mongol guard what, in all the world, could bring the greatest happiness.

"The open steppe, a clear day, and a swift horse under you," responded the officer after a little thought, "and a falcon on your wrist to start up hares."

"Nay," responded the Kahn, "to crush your enemies, to see them fall at your feet -- to take their horses and goods and hear the lamentation of their women. That is best."

This quote has another popular summary- Conan the Barbarian uses it for the answer to "What is best in life?"

So by this logic D&D is a game about killing things and taking thier stuff. According to BOTH Ghengis Khan, and Conan, this is best in life.

So logically, it would follow that D&D is a valid answer to the question "What is best in life?"

Hey if you want to argue with Conan and the Khan, be my guest.
Conan didn't say it unless Robert E. Howard wrote it!
