Several months have passed since you've seen a post about a new issue of Knowledge Arcana. There are many reasons for this, some pretty, some ugly. Generally, though, the delays have been a result of two things: 1) negotiations over KA's place in a Gleemax-centered world over at WotC, and 2) the shake-up of the coming of 4e.
If you're interested in the details, you can find many of them on the Gleemax boards:

VCL discussion, restricted
KA discussion
The bottom line is that Knowledge Arcana will shortly resume publication. Issue 10 is due in the next few weeks. This will be the last issue that is published with KA being under WotC's umbrella. Starting with issue 11, Knowledge Arcana will be a far more independent entity.
We've added staff, changed address, and will be offering more non-WotC content coverage. We anticipate having a strong working relationship with WotC, and will continue to cover as much of their material as we can.
However, we're moving out into some uncharted depths and look forward to giving everyone more excellent reading material.
I have already received a rather nice pile of submissions for the next several issues, including a few juicy bits from authors you already know (some of whom have credits in Dungeon, and some of the non-core books, such as the various Monster Manuals).
But, our focus is still on being a community magazine. To that end, I will still always be looking for submissions from anyone and everyone in the community. If you've always thought you could write a great adventure (D&D, d20 Modern, something else), a nice piece of fiction, a flotilla of NPCs for other DMs, look us up. We're interested.
Dave
