If the second wave starts after the 3rd round in their designated starting spot that it could cause the second wave to come in a little slower, making it easier for the group to handle.

I think that's how it's intended. It's still really really tough, but unlike Voss I think that it's not badly done. I think it's simply meant to be a challenge and to let players know before they get set in their ways that they can't just expect to wade through everything.

I think my players are starting to get the idea....
