Large Player Races

Are their any rules for large player races anywhere? Just curious if there is anything official from WotC on this. I don't have my MM on me, but if memory serves even minotaurs are medium creatures, aren't they? Is there anything posted in Dragon or Dungeon that I've missed?

Not yet. Few races get to swing bigger weapons though.

Being large is not as grand as it used to be since most then size modifiers are gone and Reach only functions on your own turn unless you are an NPC Monster with threatening reach. Also with the greater reliance on hindering terrain imported from D&D:Miniatures, your larger base stands a very good chance of causing your speed to be eaten up in areas medium critters could weave through without slowing down. And even though the encounter areas are larger than previous editions, there are usually more foes as well.

Minotaurs may be Medium, but they get Oversized Weapon.

As it is, I'd say they're at the cusp between Medium and Large

All valid points. I guess we can always switch to medium and go with oversized weapons. Looking over squeezing and such, I just can't see a PC wanting to deal with that. Thanks!
