I do really like the fact that McKay is intentionally not very likeable. I hope they develop his character well over the series, possibly like Whedon developed Cordelia on Angel.

Oh, I hope not. I loved my bitchy Cordelia. After they made her all 'likeable' she
was so bland. Bitchy, heck, even annoying, I can take. Bland not so much.

McKay is definately my favourite character on the series.
