A hunched, bloated, and misshapen body with wiry limbs hops awkwardly to 60N55E. The body is ugly enough, but the most dominant feature of this creature is its huge single eye taking up most of its face.
Next up for N: a dire lion. (MM) It goes next in round 376.
OOC: And with slightly fewer details to worry about than a dragon...
Barry, the great big lion (originally from Detroit), flashes into the arena. Over 10 feet long, and bigger than a horse, subtlety is not Barry's forte. Entering at 60n 115e, Barry jukes left, jukes right, then charges this bloated "soon-to-be-dinner (60n 60e) and tries to give him a great big unfriendly hug.
OOC: That was refreshingly simple eh? Too bad it's a lamer Neutral... ;-)
A small scorpion, with a form that you could describe as a conglomerate of stone and crystal (if, say, you were copying from the SRD) scampers into the arena. At 60n 25e it stops cold, and looks nothing so much as a piece of sparkly, inanimate rock.
[ready action to scramble Barry's brain with a mind-thrust]
Round 378: Barry charges to 60N30E, and takes 8 points of brain damage (rolled natural 1 Will save vs. DC 5; lucky for you Barry rolled a 1). Barry has 46 HP left. Barry hits with two front paws, a back leg, and a bite, for a total of 23 (DR took 15 points of damage away from the three claws). Barry also grabbed onto the conglomerate with his teeth and pulled it into his space. The conglomerate has 10 HP remaining, and goes first in round 379.
C'mon, ugulu, pay attention. This has been covered multiple times in other arenas already. It's DC 1d20 + ability modifier + other bonuses. It's not just 10 + modifiers. Oh yeah, beware the DC20 + power level concentration check for grappling. (just a hint)
