LE vs. N: Lawful Evil Victorious!

OOC For psionics, we are using the spell roll rule, where DC = d20 + power level + ability modifier.

Round 379: The conglomerate cannot seem to focus its mind well enough to manifest mind thrust (rolled 6 Concentration check). Barry worries Conglo, shaking it from side to side in its mouth (Grapple check 25 vs. 20) for 4 points of damage, while raking successfully with one back paw for 8-5=3 points of damage. Conglo has 3 HP remaining.

OOC: Conglo..heh; and thanks for the spell roll thing, I've only read it about 85 times in other threads...

Conglo's last gasp is to try to melt this things mind with some sort of juiced-up critical mind thrust of destruction. Or at least crumble with dignity.

Round 380: Conglo just cannot seem to concentrate (rolled 16). The lion worries Conglo some more while raking once for a total of 6 points of damage. Conglo is at -3 HP and dying (with dignity).

First in round 381 for Lawful Evil is a blue dragon wyrmling (Draconomicon/MM). Dazzle has knowledge (nature) +8, and his feats are Clinging Breath, Lightning Reflexes, and Hover.

Clinging Breath is a metabreath feat that, if used, causes your damaging breath weapon to stick to those you breathe on for 1 round. The round after you breathe, the breath weapon does half as much damage to those it damaged the round before (this means that if something avoided damage altogether (with evasion, for example), it would take no damage). A foe may attempt a full-round action to scrape off the clinging breath, but must make a Reflex save (same DC as for normal breath weapon). A clinging breath can be magically dispelled (DC equal to your breath weapon DC). If you use this feat to make your breath clinging, add 1 to the number of rounds you must wait to use your breath again.

L'eclair the Blue shimmers into view, the air crackling as he passes. Appearing at 20n 0e, he rises into the air until he reaches a height of 50 feet, soaring over the feline at 65n 55e 50z pointing NW.

The feline waits, crouching, to spring on the blue flying dessert (I first wrote 'snack' until I noticed the dragon's name).

Should I time compress until L'eclair meets something that he does not drive out of the arena with his breath?

The lion flees after being breathed on twice. L'eclair is at 15N15E20Z, southbound. L'eclair can breathe again in round 389.

Round 386: A lion-like creature the size of a horse, but with feathery wings and a reptilian face with a look of intelligence charges into the arena, flying to 15N20E20Z. The creature takes a swipe at L'eclair with all four limbs, hitting with one foreclaw and two hind claws for a total of 20 points of damage. L'eclair has 25 HP remaining, and does not recognize the creature, although L'eclair has a feeling that it recognizes him. L'eclair is first in round 387.

If L'eclar had still been at 45z (as planned) would the thing have been able to reach him at 15n 15e 45z? (not sure why he's only at 20z - he's got a 40' breath weapon - just want to check before I move - thanks PJS)

The thing would have been able to reach him. L'eclair was lower than 45Z because the lion was in the corner. L'eclair was not able to reach the corner and breathe straight down. L'eclair could have been at 25Z, I suppose, so we can push them both up five feet if you want.

OOC: Ah, lateral thing, gotcha. Thanks.

L'eclair, who has no desire to tangle with this soon-to-be-shocked thing, withdraws, first to 10n 10e 15z, then dropping to the ground at 10n 10e and burrowing to 10n 25e -5z.

Q: would blindsense allow L'eclair to track this thing if he's underground, the sphinx is flying, but within 60'?
