I'll tell you, if it's $75 it had better include historical sections wherein the rules for both 1E and 2E are contained as well as the 3/3.5 stuff. $75? My leatherbound Shakespeare was only $20 and actually impresses people.
 


Depends. If I didn't already have a 3.5 PHB, I might be willing to pay the extra for this - just for the coolness factor. Since I do already have a 3.5 PHB though, budget will likely say "no."

If it showed how the rules were changed through the editions i would pay a hundred buck easy. Of course this would be an admision of guilt by wotc to whoring out and diluting D&D to sell PHBs, so i doubt they would.
 



I would buy it if there is additional content (such as new illustrations), and the leatherbound cover is really of exceptionnal quality. I mean: real leather! But in any case, I am willing to buy it only because I don't have ther core PHB.
