Leaving Significant Other at Home to Game on V-Day?

I'm lucky enough that my wife would let me hang out with my friends and game on V-day (she just did 2 weeks ago for my b-day too). However, today's not a normal gaming day, plus, I don't think the only other married member would be able to game if it was.

Mark me down for neither.

I am between SOs, so I can't say I am spending more time with mine.

And my weekly game falls on Sunday, so it is no real issue.

My wife would love to game tonight. But I work and our regular game night is Friday (and every other Sunday) anyways. You poor suckers and your non-gaming girl/boyfriends

Our game was rescheduled for next week. Less because of V-Day and more because of this ice storm we got here. If fact, my honey and I are spending more time together today than expected, since neither of us could get to work because of the ice!

I also just realized how much of a gamer geek I am. My WOW toon just sent his WOW toon a virtual valentine's day present. I need therapy!

That being said, my wife and I game together and we don't have a game today, so the point's kinda moot. But, yeah.

My wife (KidCthulhu) detests Valentine's Day, although we do both celebrate Feb 15th - "half-priced candy day!" I got her a card this year, though; she loved it.

My wife is also a gamer, but neither of us would skip an excuse for a few romantic hours together. (Though we might reschedule Valentine Day festivities if they fell on a game night. . . .)

We had no plans to do anything today, but with the serious amounts of snow starting to fall, my class was cancelled for today and her students are starting to cancel. Instead my gf decided that she wanted to DM a 1-on-1 session for me since she runs the RL campaign I'm in.

More roleplaying may happen either before or after that, though.
