Having no need for a bed or food, Basher7 none the less understands these are needs vital to the optimal functioning of his companions. "I saw a smithy, shops and a market, what sort of things are you looking to purchase?"

Elerosse

"I am in need of a weeks rations for the trip, and we need to see Sister Lenora at the temple to ask about the rumors of the cult."

It's a simple matter to learn that the place you need to go is called Bairwin's Grand Shoppe. (It's the purple square on the map, and I'm re-posting the map here for convenience.) It's pretty much the general store of Winterhaven, and Bairwin stocks pretty much anything and everything that you could need. He is also rumored to occasionally have the odd item of enchantment on hand, but these are far too expensive for common folk, except for the occasional potion, that is.

OOC: How much money did you guys say that you have? :D

Aimhirghin Maolán

"My needs are simple - some rations for the trail and I'm ready to go. Shall we?"

With that, Aimhirghin heads for the Grand Shoppe.

"I am in need of a weeks rations for the trip, and we need to see Sister Lenora at the temple to ask about the rumors of the cult."

"As anxious as I am to deal with the kobold threat, I fear that a cult developing in a town this size could be of a greater threat to them. I agree with Elerosse, it is time to speak to the Sister." Khellek says, looking at Aimhirghin leaving, then shaking his head.

"Ok, after we've gathered our supplies." Khellek sighs, following his companion to Bairwin's Grand Shoppe.

We have 35 sp from the prior kobold battle, plus their gear (which I think under 4e is essentially valueless), plus Khellek has 35 gp left from his initial stash.

Luckily for you, that is NOT my take on things! Those kobolds did not have enough treasure to be an adequate reward, imo, so their gear can be sold, and it has a value of half book price. You're welcome! ;) (Just mention IC what you want to sell, and I'll let you know what they'll pay.)

[sblock=ooops]Sorry, I was waiting for someone to post, but, I guess it's my turn to post, isn't it? :D[/sblock]
You enter Bairwin's Grand Shoppe, a cluttered shop that appears to contain a wide variety of items, including most of the things that you would wish to have before setting off on an adventure. The proprietor, presumably Bairwin, says, "Welcome gentlemen! What can I do you for today? ;) I am Bairwin Wildarson, World Traveler, and I have virtually anything that your heart could desire here in Winterhaven. Even.... And here, the man looks around conspiratorially, "Some items of magic, possibly?" He gives all of you a self-satisfied smile.

Khellek looks at the man dubiously, wondering if his claims are true, after all what would someone with magical items being doing in this town. After the Spellplague their value would be tremendous.

After considering him for a moment, the shifter decides that the man is probably on the level and pulls out a sack with the items they procured from the kobolds on the road.

"I know these are not nearly as impressive as your wares, but we have these from some ambushers on the road and we can't use them. Can we work out a trade?" Khellek asks, somewhat uncomfortable with the art of negotiating and looking to his ally, Aimhirghin for aid.

Insight (1d20+9=15)

one dagger, one short sword, one sling, 5 javelins, and 5 spears. The slinger also has some special ammunition for his sling consisting of 2 firepots and 1 gluepot.

OOC: Bairwin Wildarson will give you the standard amount for these items (half book price, I think?), but I'm going to make you look them up and tell ME how much! :p If the firepots and gluepots aren't listed, I guess you'll have to haggle with him.

'Ahhh, I seeeeee. Hmmm, this stuff doesn't exactly look pristine you know, where'd you find it? In a town dump somewhere? And what are these clay bowls?" Bairwin looks a little bit puzzled by the gluepots and firepots.
