Aimhirghin

Leaving the closer enemies to his more combat able allies, Aimhirghin draws deeply on that darkness that lies hidden in every soul. His visage darkens and his eyes turn black as he focuses his malevolence on one of the distant Kobolds.

Tarrk feels something vitriolic brush against the walls of his psyche - something sharp and cold, causing him to cringe away - just before the Kobold is struck by the full force of the Bards malevolent sending.

As previously noted, this particular source of power is dark and always tempts the user to hurt friends (just a little). Aimhirghin chose a target that would allow him to lick the effects of the spell against an ally - hurting a bit without causing real damage.

Khellek moves around the closest tree and sees the kobolds lying in wait, he immediately grabs his holy symbol and directs a beam of light at the closest enemy, but a root from the tree trips up the shifter and causes his holy vengeance to instead fry an ant crawling across the forest floor.

Cursing under his breath, Khellek draws his longsword and clangs it against his shield. "Come and face the Moonmaiden's warrior!" he yells.

Tarrk boldly moves and swings his massive greataxe, sinking the weapon's great blade into scaly flesh. The Dragonshield grunts and attacks with his short sword, striking Tarrk for 4hp of damage. 1d20+7=24, 1d6+3=4 [sblock=kobold status]36-11=25[/sblock]

Aimhirghin uses his spiteful glamor power against a minion (U9) and slays the overgrown lizard.

Khellek grabs his holy symbol and directs a beam of light at the closest enemy, but a root from the tree trips up the shifter and causes his holy vengeance to instead fry an ant crawling across the forest floor. OOC: He was aiming at the minion that Aimhirghin just killed, so it's all good! However, another minion charges up to attack Khellek, but misses horribly. 4 damage automatic (1d20+5=8)

Basher7 charges the Kobold Minion before him at the treeline (Z9). Reaching the foe, he swings his craghammer, but his aim is spoiled by the foliage. the kobold minion returns the attack at Basher7 and just barely misses. 4 damage automatic (1d20+5=18)

NOTE: on the map, the Periwinkle-colored kobolds are dead.

Woops! Sorry about that. Khellek is in V5. I originally intended to make them be different colors, but it was just easier to make the kobolds black, too, this time. Guess I'll make Khellek "Kh" from now on.....if I remember.... (Hey! It could happen!)

Tapping a quick staccato beat on the drum at his waist, the bard focuses his will and projects the sound at the Dragonshield menacing his friend Tarkk.

The drumbeats strike his eardrums painfully and confuse the poor creature, causing him to stumble away from the minotaur, leaving him exposed to an attack as he passes.
