Exploring the Ex-Temple of Bahamut

OOC: Leif please, read my post (again!) in the OOC thread
OOC: Got it. Sorry.

OOC: Tarrk is in melee with the Wight, Basher7 is 3 squares away, and Elerosse is 5 squares away.

IC: The battle is almost over, so let's go ahead and finish it, shall we? The Deathlock Wight fires off a necromantic bolt of bluish black energy at Tarrk. The Wight's shot is badly off-target, and the bolt of energy slams harmlessly into the ceiling. [OOC: Tarrk is up now, and Elerosse and Basher7 immediately follow.]

Opponent status:
Wight 1: 54-5-5=44-4(Ghraere) -8(Elerosse)=32-20(Tarrk)-9(Elerosse)=3

Initiative Order:
19 Elerossse
17 Basher7
15 Deathlock Wight
07 Tarrk

Tarrk

Tarrk uses the opening to swing his gouge at the wight again... and again.

OOC: Was the last attack a ranged attack he did while in melee? OA in that case :)

Exploring the Ex-Temple of Bahamut

With a final mighty swing, Tarrk destroys the last remaining Deathlock Wight! The undead monsters now defeated, the three heroes survey the carnage that surrounds them: a pile of destroyed undead creatures, and several of their fallen comrades. This room is decorated very strangely -- there is the decor one would expect to find in a lesser chapel of Bahamut, but it has been covered over with very loud and garish swaths of color and texture, making a mockery of the understated elegance. The small altar has also been turned over on its side, and a large statue of the Platinum Dragon has been cast down and lies in the floor, and footprints are visible on the head.

OOC: For their participation in the battle against the Deathlock Wights, the Deathwarg, and the Rotter Zombies, Elerosse, Basher7, and Tarrk each gain 310 XP.

Exploring the Ex-Temple of Bahamut

Tarrk finds that each of the two wights wears a platinum bracelet set with pearls worth 450 gp. Nothing else of value remains in the desecrated lesser chapel of Bahamut.

[sblock=OOC, Short Rest]Yes, a short rest is in order, so everyone can spend as many healing surges as desired up to your daily maximum, but the day is not over by a long shot, so you still need to keep track of how many surges you have remaining for the day.[/sblock]
