WD's question about the level of detail for character backgrounds has now been addressed in the first RG post. To summarize -- do what you want. Very vague to very detailed. We'll make it work. The more detail you give me, the more adventure hooks I may possibly hang stuff on, but this can be a curse as well as a blessing, so beware! And something that looks incredibly pregnant to you and just itching for an adventure may strike me in one of my "moods" and totally fail to trip my Dungeon Trigger. And even if I use a hook left dangling like that, there's no guarantee that it's going to work out in the fashion that the PCs plan! In fact, I'd say that such an eventuality would fall somewhere on the rarified end of the scale.

Just so you know I haven't forgotten...should have my sheet posted by or before this weekend.
Thanks! But I wasn't worried. Much. :o Allow me to re-emphasize that a bit (more) of delay in this case is a good thing. (For all of us.) Let's not get into any rush to fling ourselves into the void that is my mostly un-created world just yet.

Well, my character is a Sun Elf with the Noble theme...I figure she's the daughter of one of the big heavy Eladrin Houses. With all the bardic stuff she's got going on, I see her as acting as a sort of ambassador between her House and others.

I have also the Sunelf background, but the guardian theme. he could have worked as one of your character's guards when she was an ambassador. I don't think they still have 'regular occupations' while they were adventuring.
