Let Warlord be Warlord

No, War Locks are the dread locks used by Warlords. Very stylish
I want the War Locks of Jammin' +3!

That, my friend, is awesome. Yeah, I wanna be a badass Warlord with War Locks of Jammin too! Can I get fire with that?

There's the War Locks of Shooting Sheriffs, for Warlocks

I imagine the Warlord with War Locks of Jammin' and the Warlock with War Locks of Shooting Sheriffs blowing up an Awakened Weed into smoke LOL

Well, when I hear "Warlord", I think this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warlord_(comics)
So, I'd say it's a pretty heroic and positive title.

Yeah, well in reality a warlord is this guy:

Who enslaves/murders/cuts the hands off people for diamonds. They steal & indoctrinate children and turn them into killers. I chose not to show any images related to that, but they are easy enough to find.

This is partly the reason I don't want warlord to be the name of a character class-- because it is a word used to describe guys like that-- heads of paramilitary groups like the RUF-- people that make orcs and all sorts of things that dnd consider "evil" look like nice guys.

I cannot see a good character calling themself a warlord. Maybe it is a class only for super evil characters?

Well said. I totally agree.

Herald is awful! Heralds are perfumed dandies, not masters of battle!

Somebody suggested Myrmidon which I think is outstanding. A professional soldier without the encumbrance of the military association!
