D&D 5E Let's break the Ring of Spell Storing

I'd say the fact that it allows you to have a concentration spell on whose concentration can't be broken...which would also allows stacking with another concentration spell. Plenty of good combos with that I think

The person wearing the ring is casting the spell, so the person wearing the ring is concentrating on a concentration spell from the ring.

Player: "I ready my action to grab the NPC's hand if he casts a spell.".
DM: "Ok, he casts Magic Missile at you."
Player: "I roll my grab, yes, success. I grab his hand and store his spell into my Ring of Spell Storing. Woo Hoo!"
DM: "Wait. What?"

That is not possible due to the person casting has to be doing it in to the ring which clearly he is casting it at a person on the ring also he would have to be attuned to the ring to cast a spell in to it other wise the ring will not work for the person.

Yes, you have to be attuned to use the spells stored in the ring. But the entry specifically calls out that ANYONE can cast a spell while touching it in order to store a spell. It doesn't need to be the attuned owner.
I understand that. I was referring to the situation where someone wanted to hand out self-only spells to the whole party. To do so would require several hours of downtime. It works for find familiar and find mount, which are more or less permanent and can be done a day in advance, but other buffs, not so much. There are far more effective ways to use the ring than those two spells.

This ring could go a long way with a bard charging it up for the party.

A level 10 bard could use magical secrets to gain paladin and ranger 5th level spells. At level 10 a fighter gets two attacks per turn. Assuming a ranged Fighter, Swift Quiver could give him four ranged attacks per turn. If the bard is nice, she'll recharge it after it runs dry and give it a second use that day.

When the party hits level 11 the fighter gets five attacks per turn. Without testing I can't be certain, but it looks like it's more than worth the spell slots it would use up.

attuning the items to a character would be a great way for a GM to keep PC'S from swooping items all the time, a short rest or long or a day or week maybe.
