If we do Whispering Cairn, I will not be able to participate either, because I am going to run the whole AP at a later date and do not want to rush into it.

Sorry.

I went for Whispering Cairn.

The 50+ page Age of Worms Overload due this week on Paizo's site is being released so that DMs will be put at ease with starting a campaign now.

Um, after a quick look, I didn't see any scaling for Whispering Cairn. Did I just miss it, or did they leave it out?

Ditto

That's why I voted for Cooperative Dungeon. Free. Done by EnWorlders. Easily available without having to buy a back issue of something.

Did I mention free? :p

I disagree, unless the Overload includes a synopsis of the major NPCs of each adventure in the series. I find the adventures are much better when the DM has a full overview of what is going to happen to be able to foreshadow, and to be able to actually link the events to the characters.

For example, based on having read the first six adventures of the Shackled City, I made the dwarven player a descendent of Zenith. It really increased the quality of roleplaying for the first adventure as well as Zenith trajectory, and then for the end of the adventure once he found out what was being done with his grand-sire.
