Lady Mariangela calls, "Okay, let's wrap this up and start taking care of business."

St. Patrick casts neutralize poison on Omega Supreme and then flies straight up to 40z.
Optimus Prime moves to 90n50e, concentrates and reaches out and puts a daylight at 95n80e (just outside the dispel zone).
St. Stephen casts neutralize poison on Maximus Rex and then flies up to 75n40e40z.
Sonja walks over to 55n50e and concentrates, putting a death ward on Omega Supreme.
Omega Supreme takes off, flying south and east and concentrates on the way, putting a daylight on the tree at 5n110e. He then performs a wingover and lands at 10n45e.
Lady Mariangela casts heroism on herself and then flies up to 60n25e40z.
Maximus Rex moves to 20n0e and concentrates, placing a daylight on the other tree at 5n5e.

As if a spoiler block really matters: Maximus Rex and Omega Supreme will both take an AoO on Howlie with their bites, should one present itself. Don't forget the flanking bonus, LOL!

Okay, anyone else having fun watching this? I find this immensely enjoyable and 'preciate y'all letting me do it.

Attached is an updated spreadsheet providing the latest positions (as of the end of this round) and spell effects on the terrain. Note that LM's text is grayed out because she is invisible.

The grid seems to agree with mine, so far so good. Except that Max's daylight has to emanate from 5N10E, unless Max has some special tree-burrowing ability I don't know about.

Round 171: Howlie takes no action.

OOC: The tree fills 0n0e, 0n5e, 5n0e, and 5n5e. Right? The daylight, if cast on the tree, must emanate from one of those four squares. I suppose we could use 5n10e or 10n5e and say the daylight emanates from the side of the tree. That'd be cool, too. The other daylight needs to be thusly defined, then. If so, in both cases make it the side (not top).

St. Patrick casts aid on himself, activates his protective aura, but remains hovering in position.
Optimus Prime casts daylight on the ground at 95n35e.
St. Stephen flies to 80n40e and lands, perching atop the victory zone roof. He then casts bull's strength on himself, but does not activate his aura.
Sonja casts shield of the archons on herself and moves to 30n50e and stand beside Omega Supreme.
Omega Supreme puts a daylight on the south wall at 0n60e20z.
Lady Mariangela casts mirror image on herself and flies to 80n25e40z.
Maximus Rex moves to 45n0e and puts a daylight on the ground at 65n0e.

Lady Mariangela calls out, "That's enough." She turns, invisibly, towards Maximus Rex, "Finish him."

That's correct, but when you cast a spell with a radius effect, it makes more sense to specify the exact vertex that comprises the center of the radius, not the center of the square or the SW corner of the square that the vertex is in. Please review the other daylights in case there was some confusion on that point before.

St. Patrick gains 17 temp hp and now has 150 hp.
Lady Mariangela creates eight images (all invisible at this point).

Round 172: Howlie takes no action.

Regarding daylights, good point. I think we should stick with the convention of identifying the vertex via the SW coordinate. That means the daylights would be at:

80n60e, 95n80e, 95n40e (all 3 just outside the zone if possible)
65n0e, 0n60e20z
10n10e, 10n110e (both at the 'corners' of the trees)

Round 172 continues . . .
St. Patrick casts invisibility on himself.
Optimus Prime readies to breathe a line of force on any opponent entering the arena, as long as it wouldn't include an ally in the area.
St. Stephen casts invisibility on himself.
Sonja casts neutralize poison on herself and moves to 30n35e.
Omega Supreme puts up a daylight on the ground at 40n60e. It's safe to say that the arena is bathed in daylight. We certainly don't want any shadows hanging around.
Lady Mariangela casts magic circle vs. evil on herself.

Maximus Rex Glares down at Howlie, "Now, you die." He bites Howlie with maximum combat expertise (+5) and then takes off into the air, flying in a little loop to end at 45n10n40z, heading south. If Max miraculously misses or doesn't knock Howlie out of commission, he continues with a full attack, not stopping until the bits of Howlie are teleported out of the arena.

Lady Mariangela thanks Howlie for his service to Lawful Good.

OOC: Thank you very much for the summary - that was an immense help.

Max hits (rolled 54+5-5) for 37+3 points of damage, killing Howlie instantly.

The CE crowd erupts with glee! :)

Next in round 172 is Twohvritturnuroth the old black dragon. (Draconomicon)

For Chaotic Evil's benefit, here's what you see (or don't see) in the arena. I trust you not to metagame the positions of the invisible combatants unless you can see them or the spell effects (unless you have Spellcraft). It would be too complicated to use a lot of spoiler blocks, though.

Three gargantuan (Space 20) radiant dragons are all visible. Omega Supreme is located at 10n45e and is glowing with a brilliant divine radiance (holy aura). Optimus Prime is located at 90n50e in the middle of the victory zone and is glowing with a divine radiance (holy aura) and a dim blue glow (shield of law). The last one, Maximus Rex, is flying at 45n10e40z heading south. Max also glows with divine radiance and a dim blue light.

Two planetars (large) are in the arena, both invisible. St. Stephen is perched atop the victory zone ceiling at 80n40e. The other, St. Patrick, is hovering at 55n40e40z. Neither are glowing with any light or aura that can be seen, if you can see invisible at all.

A throne archon (large) stands on the ground near Omega Supreme. Sonja is at 30n35e. She glows with a divine radiance and some other glow (most likely) that I don't remember the description for (shield of the archons).

Lastly, the main combatant is the huge t'uen-rin, Lady Mariangela, hovering at 80n25e40z. She is invisible, but if you could see here, you would see 8 additional copies of her. She has a dim blue glow as well (shield of law).

Fodder I, fully briefed, flies into the arena from the sw corner, climbs to 65n80e10z, breathes a cone of acid to catch LM, St, and P and if possible So (who are they?), then continues north, dunks into the water, and ends up at 100n55e -5z (directly under the platform).
