OOC1: SR doesn't apply to a Su ability, which is what Max used. The question I have on it is whether Howlie can choose to make a saving throw and whether he would or not.

OOC2: I think I have the ordering confused. I was putting new entrants in front, but I don't think that's right. Not that it matters much. This is my current order: Howlie, Pat, Optimus, Stephen, LM, Max.

Round 165
St. Patricks casts bear's endurance and reaches out and touches Optimus Prime.

Optimus Prime (now at 544 hp, Fort +30), continues lowering his SR and stays put.

St. Stephen joins the buffing parade and casts bull's strength on Optimus Prime.

Lady Mariangela says, "Don't hurt him too badly, Maximus, if you can help it." She then casts gate again. This time, a radiant female fully 12ft tall steps very gracefully out of the disk to 75n30e. She has long, flowing golden hair and golden-tinted skin that shows through the strategically-placed plates on her exceedingly magical full plate armor. Glowing blue eyes shine from a too-beautiful face that nearly glows from love and warmth, but finally forms a grimace knowing what she has come here to do. She wields a greatsword easily, the etched runes shimmering in the light from Optimus Prime's daylight.

She nods respectfully at her comrades. "We are arrayed well against the forces of evil. This is good.'

Lady Mariangela smiles at the throne archon, "Welcome, Sonja. Your presence here is a delight."

Max attacks Howlie with a wing (and in the off chance he misses, another wing, then a claw and another claw--but stopping as soon as he hits once).

A potentially affected creature that succeeds on a Will save (DC 10 + ½ dragon’s HD + dragon’s Cha modifier) (DC 34) remains immune to that dragon’s frightful presence for 24 hours. On a failure, creatures with 4 or less HD become panicked for 4d6 rounds and those with 5 or more HD become shaken for 4d6 rounds. Dragons ignore the frightful presence of other dragons.
Keen Senses (Ex): A dragon sees four times as well as a human in shadowy illumination and twice as well in normal light.
Crush (Ex): This special attack allows a flying or jumping dragon of at least Huge size to land on opponents as a standard action, using its whole body to crush them. Crush attacks are effective only against opponents three or more size categories smaller than the dragon (though it can attempt normal overrun or grapple attacks against larger opponents).
A crush attack affects as many creatures as can fit under the dragon’s body. Creatures in the affected area must succeed on a Reflex save (DC equal to that of the dragon’s breath weapon) or be pinned, automatically taking bludgeoning damage during the next round unless the dragon moves off them. If the dragon chooses to maintain the pin, treat it as a normal grapple attack. Pinned opponents take damage from the crush each round if they don’t escape.
A crush attack deals the indicated damage plus 1½ times the dragon’s Strength bonus (round down).
Tail Sweep (Ex) (Whirlwind Tail Sweep): This special attack allows a dragon of at least Gargantuan size to sweep with its tail as a standard action. The sweep affects a full circle with a radius of 30 feet (or 40 feet for a Colossal dragon), extending from an intersection on the edge of the dragon’s space in any direction. Creatures within the swept area are affected if they are four or more size categories smaller than the dragon. A tail sweep automatically deals the indicated damage plus 1½ times the dragon’s Strength bonus (round down). Affected creatures can attempt Reflex saves to take half damage (DC equal to that of the dragon’s breath weapon).

OOC: Gansk - you wanna send me the list of the next 20 or CE contenders? That way I can just cross each one off unless it has some nuclear ability, and we can blast through 20 at a time until CE runs out and we declare the inevitable.

Only real hope is for a Creature Catalog critter with DR50/-, SR50, all saves +30 or better.
 

OOC: If we weren't wating for the other arenas to finish I would, but for now you might as well evaluate each monster one at a time until there is a real need to speed things up.
