LG vs. N: Lawful Good Victorious!

(They seem to have about the same maneuverability.)

Immersa hits with a claw and a bite. Neither has any effect.

Round 172: PU2 misses with both claws. Go ahead, Immersa.

Immersa hits with one claw, but does not damage PU2.

Round 173: PU2 concentrates, Immersa misses with her AoO (rolled 12), and they are both surrounded by a cloud of swirling, abrasive dust. Immersa does not quite avoid any of the flying grit, taking 11 points of damage. Immersa is at -2 HP and dying. PU2 dodges some of the grit, taking 5 points of damage. PU2 has 15 HP left. PU2 moves out of the cloud to 115N55E. Observers from the Lawful Good side of the arena see PU move north from 10N65E to 40N65E, behind the cloud. The two clouds are 20' radius each, 20' high, one centered at 35N40E, and the other centered at 110N75E (it abuts the north wall).

OOC A valiant effort, Immersa, but as mephits like to say, "It's better to be lucky than good."

First up in round 174 for Lawful Good is a ramadeen (Miniatures Handbook). I have E-mailed you the ramadeen in case you do not have the required book.

Saladar the Ramadeen enters at 10N0E and paces determinedly forward to 15N70E, avoiding the cloud. He raises his scimitar and points it directly at PU.

(Remember Saladar's large size. I will assume he enters at 5N, or his path would take him through the gritty cloud, so he ends up at 10N70E. By the way, the cloud only goes as far east as 60E. When I stated the center, I meant the SW corner of the square I stated as center. I will state centers of effects in that fashion in the future because the position of a creature is defined by the SW corner. Given that, Saladar can be at 15N65E if you wish.)

PU moves to 25N60E (or 30N65E, but exactly 10 feet away in any event) and breathes a cloud of noxious vapor at Saladar, who laughs it off (rolled 25 Fort save). PU2 moves to 65N60E. Go ahead for round 175.

(we'll go with the first numbers - at 10" away, he is in reach, haha! - speaking of which, did that provoke an AoO?)

Saladar slashes at PU with his scimitar!

(5" step to 15N70E, Full attack with power attack for additional -2 to hit/+2 dmg)

Round 175: Saladar hits (natural 19, missed crit by 1), but PU dodges the full impact of the scimitar. Saladar inflicts 11-5=6 points of damage. PU has 1 HP remaining. PU, deciding that fleeing is the way to survive, tries to fly away. Saladar hits on his AoO (rolled 27-2=25 for PA) for 14-5=9. PU is at -8 HP and dying. PU2 gestures, and Saladar is surrounded by a bank of stinky fog. He starts retching (rolled 14 Fort save). Saladar cannot see the edge of the cloud.

Saladar goes first in round 176, before the next Neutral creature enters the arena. He is nauseated, which means he can only take a single move action per turn.

Round 176: You can only move at half speed when your vision is impaired that much, so Saladar can get to 35N70E. His north half is out of the cloud, and all of him can be out of the cloud if he wants to squeeze.
A human-sized blob of quicksilver flies into the arena to 40N80E5Z, and forcibly bumps into Saladar (rolled 26) for 4 points of damage. Saladar has 26 HP remaining. PU2 moves to 50N70E and breathes noxious vapors at Saladar, who ignores them to concentrate on his queasy stomach (rolled 20 Fort save). I will let you know when Saladar feels up to taking greater part in this combat, but it is his move in round 177. Incidentally, Saladar's knowledge skills do not help him identify the blob.

Saladar stumbles away, trying to avoid the other combatants and get out of the cloud.

(MEA to 40N60E (15"), then to 50N50E (another 15"), then to 50N60E (last 10"))
