LG vs. N: Lawful Good Victorious!

OOC: I've run into bad luck with my dragons, having to fight a table (fang dragons have a con ability on their bite instead of a breath weapon), ooze, and similar creatures. I have yet to run into a series of land-bound opponents with no resistances. Not to mention that both Gansk and PJSlavner have cursed d4's that always turn up a 3 or 4 on the breath weapon recharge. ;)

PS OOC: And just why haven't you already been reading those other arenas? We're doing our best to make them entertaining! :)

PPS OOC2 Mark3: Mostly haven't been reading the other ones out of time constraints. When I do, I enjoy them. I am definitely learning too!

Round 165: PU appears to concentrate, and PU2 appears at 30N50E. PU2 flies up to 40N45E25Z and breathes noxious vapors at Immersa, who goes unconscious (rolled natural 1 on Fort save), and plummets down to 40N50E, taking 9 points of damage and waking up, prone. PU lands at 30N40E. Immersa has 25 HP remaining. Go ahead, Immersa.

Ugggg... <<SLAM!!>> Waaaarrrggggh!. Immersa is clearly having a very bad day. A very bad, stinky day. A very bad, stinky, and painful day. With all of this noxious gas, she's been having a real hard time getting a good breath to concentrate into a weapon. But when she wakes up she finally gets a good swallow of air. She stands up and breathes a line of electricity into PU.

OOC: Too bad I can't catch both in either breath weapon. Here's hoping the recharge time is faster this time, though in-game it's a great excuse with the gas attacks.

Immersa breathes a potent bolt, but PU dodges it partially (rolled 15 Ref) and takes 5 points of damage. PU has 10 HP remaining. Immersa can breathe again in round 169.

Round 166: PU concentrates, and is surrounded by a thick haze of swirling, abrasive dust. Immersa is in the cloud as well, and takes 6 points of damage from the abrasion. Immersa has 19 HP left. She can see that directly to the north (45N50E)the dust scoured the stinky fog away; to the NE (45N55E) there is still stinky fog; and to the east (40N55E) there is fresh air clear of any pollution at all. In all other directions is swirling dust, and her visibility is only 5 feet. Before the dust appeared, she saw that PU2 was flying down in a predominantly easterly path overhead. PU manages to get out of the cloud while keeping some of the dust from scraping him up (rolled 19 Ref), but still takes 3 points of damage, leaving PU with 7 HP left.

She cannot. I apologize for not making that clear. There are only the three squares she can see into. Also, I made an error earlier. One has to move at half speed (and cannot charge or run) through something that impairs visibility to five foot range.

Okay, move through 40N55E on foot and head east, then SE, staying out of the cloud. Buy as much space as possible for the moment, ending facing the cloud so she can watch for the enemies.

(i.e. double move and reassess)

When Immersa gets to 35N60E (after moving ten feet), PU2 attacks with a readied claw from 35N65E and hits for 2 points of damage. Immersa has 17 HP left, and can retaliate with a bite or claw if she wishes, as she still has a standard action remaining.
