[OOC: Praka, notice the female stated she is Neutral Evil. She does not care for you like Kyp who is Lawful Evil. Kyp respects your traps and values your contribution to the greater evil. ]
Kyp will make sure the cave they are in is secured He will check the walls and make sure the rock worms have not ruined the shelter they have. I have been thinking. We need to search the caverns better before we start making traps. There may be a much better place further in that we would rather have as a base. Maybe somewhere with water. Kyp will continue to look for tracks.

Traps always good, keep in nasty monsters in cave now, and other nasty monsters out cave when we have the cave out!

Since that Big trap is probarly too much.

Praka will attach his rope (Cut into two) on the ceiling, and will attach one of it's ladders to that, on that ladder he will stick all of his pointy spears (that's 3 from the lizardmen, all the ones he made so far (I didn't roll but I said I made some on watch and various other occasions) Keeping one (The best) for himself to actually use) And then makes sure the ladder is set against the ceiling, with another rope going down.

Pulling that last rope will result in the ladder swinging down with the points forward hitting everyone in it's path.

If I have enough Time, I will upgrade this to a triggered trap. I will make a small wire (A string from a rope) and attach it firmly to a wall at one side, and to the rope hanging from the ceiling at the other side, but only losely. Stepping on, or applying preasure to the wire will result in the ladder swinging down again.

The rules that I think should be used (but I'm not the judge of that)
Search (Triggered): 17
Disable device (actually disabling it, not just stepping over the wire :D) 17
Damage: 5 Javelins (assuming I have crafted two more, just say if I need to throw for that) + 5 to hit, 1D6 +2 damage. The to hit bonus and damage bonus come form the speed the ladder will make when swinging down. Also it is difficult to dodge the trap, because if you dodge one javelin, you have a great chance of catching another. The ladder will be at a height a small characters chest at the pint where the wire is located.

The trap is pointed inward (towards the rest of the cave) for now.
