Hmm...nope. He just said that he wanted to play some kind of sorceror/knight, and that his buddy wanted a character that was "just like Gimli." :) A gamer after my own heart. "Not the beard!!!"
I ask cause 2 weeks ago I introduced a 13 year old to gaming at my FLGS. I helped him create his first pc, a half elf monk, and he looked really intrested in gaming and stuff.

I wasnt sure if you or he are in NY, but it woulda been funny if that kid was your brother.

I got my younger sister into gaming as well, but not till she was about 19. She's a uber-geek on the TV end of things (buffy and xena), but she's gotten heavily into DnD now too. It's quite wierd to sit around talking feat pre-reqs with your younger sibling.

How is it you turn every thread into a chat room for (unsuccessfully) picking up chicks?

You'd be better off had you chosen one of those Custom Usernames I suggested for you, man.

EDIT: read my sig before you think I'm (completely) serious or something.

Glad you decided to end you self-imposed exile Tom.

Congrats on the Rangers managing to win a game BTW ;)

Even though I really enjoyed NeMoran's Vault, I think my vote still has to be for Keep on the Borderlands. It was the first adventure I ever played, and it will be a sad, sad day when kids won't be able to say the same.
