Fixed that bug, and a couple other ones. I take he's approved, then. I'll bring him to the Lounge.
Also, you charged yourself too little for Regeneration--despite the fact that two categories of regeneration are listed together due to the same cost, you can't get both for the price of one (you'll have to pick one or the other for Bruised/Unconscious and Injured/Staggered, or else pay more to get both)

Damned fine print! :o Fixed that as well.

I sent an email to Hero4Hire, and I'm posting here just to make sure I cover all my bases.

I wanted to get this taken care of ASAP, before the next adventure begins.

I've revised my character very slightly and re-posted her.

I added a couple of alternate powers to her array and moved her skills around a bit.

It occured to me that 1) it would take an obscene amount of points in the array if she just wanted to lift something without messing with it, unless she had a non-damaging AP of magnetic TK, 2) she should have a modicum of scientific knowledge so that she knows what she's looking at and how to manipulate it, and 3) I'm over-paying for her Super-Senses extras - I'm paying as much as it would cost for her to have complete Darkvision and X-Ray Vision, when in fact her's is severely limited.

The revisions are posted on the forum awaiting approval.
Note to self, review this when more awake tomorow :)

I'm getting very close to pulling Gun Monkey and Sierra into my game. My wife is going to visit me from Alaska for a very short week, so I'll probably be taking a little break until after Memorial Day weekend.

Bront- Thanks for picking up character approval.

NP. Care to verify RA's math run of GM? In theory I can approve it but... :p

By the way, could you check my PL 8 Sidekick, Magus? I finally got motivated enough to finish him, but it took a while. If you could check my math, the bold powers are the points that count, and everything else is purchased using the points from Magic or an alternate. I admit that it is significantly complicated though, so no worries if you can't. I thought he might be an interesting addition to the Daylight Robbery game, since they're still a bit low on characters.

There are four in there now. I'm not sure if he wanted more than that.

My maths check turned up a few silly errors. (Which carries absolutly no official weight of course)
I make the saves 14 and the feats 6. (Although the saves are all labeled wrong I think)

But you are right it is complicated. I think Check required is in UP which i don't have, but if I understand it then a check on a rank 2 power with a skill of 24 is a certainty and I would be very doubtful about allowing that as a flaw.

I think you also have several examples of nested Alternate powers (eg Travel and Illusion Magic) Are thos legal? Seem doutful to me.

Finally I don't really understand the staff. Why can you run any two powers at once with the staff? I know they are cheap enough but do you not need dynamic APs for that much flexibility. (Mathmetically I think you can get the effect of allowing any two of the 5 powers by having two nearly identical arrays each Magic 13 but my costing of that would put the staff at 39pp.

I think this probably just shows my lack of understanding of the system rather than flaws in the design.

You have the correct counts there for saves and feats--thanks!

I think the idea of Check Required is that if you use Extra Effort to get more ranks or if you suffer a penalty to your skills, you start losing reliability on the power as well. They have to know that the checks would be easy, though, since the cap for ranks on powers is below that for skills, and skills add stats too.

I believe that Alts are allowed within powers bought with Magic ranks--as you can see, they get an incredibly low cap because of this and are very inexpensive and relatively weak.

As to the staff, it is indeed dynamic, there's no secret--you got it right away.

Thanks for checking!

Ah--if it's full, then there's no need. I was just highly amused by the coincidence given the backstories of one of the other heroes in the adventure, particularly given that I didn't realise that when I made my Sidekick.
