i was watching the last season of angel, there was a scene in one of the eps where spike and angel where argueing over who would win CAVEMEN or ASTRONAUGHTS

so its up for discussion

who would win in a fight a caveman or astronaught?

What kind of a weapon do both carry?

I suppose they would both have whatever tools each would carry while on the job.
The cave man would have a club spear or pointy rock, while the Astronaught might have what ? A laptop, a tool box, a space suit mabey a small cage with mice?
any the very most in terms of weaponry an acetelean torch ? If the space guy has that, you might want to give the cave man a burning stick, just to even the odds.

Erm Astronaught, unless the cave man stalks him and ambushes him.

Well, caveman hunts, hence the use of clubs and possibly stone weapons. If they're lucky they know how to make spears.

Today's astronauts only carry out scientific and repair missions, so his weapon would be improvised (based on what is in his toolkits).

What environment will they battle in?

I think the Caveman would win. Astronauts are trained to work in a low grav environment with their equipment, and are also not trained to fight with it. Cavemen on the other hand must play the hunter to survive and their equipment is designed for combat, if a bit crude.

Unless of course they were fighting in space. That would change my answer.

But then, a space suit won't do that much good in a cave... unless the astronaught uses it to reflect sunlight into the cavman's eyes, then he's onto a winner!
