London 2012 logo. Nauseating?

What the hell was that?

I love all the corp-speak that the committee is spewing out to justify the logo. Might as well have gotten Vicki Pollard to speak for them:

"YeahbutnobutyeahbutnobutSHUTUP! Stop giving me evils!"

I'm a Brit who works in London. How do you think *I* feel about it?

It makes atrocious rebranding such as the BT 'prancing man with a trumpet' look... well, it gives it company.

HeavenShallBurn is right - it woudl have been much, much better to have an open contest for it.

(at its launch, they said the logo will 'evolve' as 2012 comes near. I'm hoping it will evolve into an energy based life-form and disappear out beyond the galactic rim...)
