The next time someone attempts to seriously do me harm, cast shield, dragonskin, and haste on me.

"Wait a second, my AC just went up by 15.. My new AC is 44."

Or alternatively, try this.

The next time someone attempts to seriously do me harm, cast improved invisibility, ghostform, and teleport me 100 ft forward and to the left relative to my then position and orientation at a 45 degree up angle.

This grants you immunity to non-magical weapons, 50% miss chance from total concealment if your opponent can some how track you to your new position, and an additional 50% chance to ignore any successful attacks from corporeal sources (save some force effects), in addition to giving you your Charisma bonus to AC as a deflection bonus, renders you invisible to tremorsense, darkvision, blindsight, and normal vision, and places you 100 feet forward, 100 feet to the left, and floating 50 feet in the air relative to the poor fool who is about to have several horrid wiltings or firebrands cast upon him.

Blazing Shield is Relics and Rituals. Grants a bonus to AC that goes up with levels so by 17th level when you can cast chain contingency, it gives a very high bonus.

It specifically says it stacks with mage armor (and presumably bracers of armor).

Nice low level spell for keeping yourself safe, also has the side effect of possibly doing a single d6 of fire damage to some attackers.

Another use for Chain Contingency is, if you have a single defensive spell youw ant to "contingency"-cast more than once in a day.

Set it up like so (using Fire Shield as an example):

Fire Shield
Contingency
Fire Shield

The trick is, of course, the second casting of Fire Shield is absorbed into the normal, "vanilla" Contingency's effects. Thus, you get your contingent Fire Shield, yet, you still HAVE a contingent Fire Shield ready to go.

When you say "See you meat! Thanks for playing..."

Enervate (empowered) + Enervate (empowered) + Followed by ANY save they cant afford to fail!

You may have to drop the empowered's I don't have the spell spec on hand.... enervate reduces enemy saves as well as overall effectiveness.

Of course I just read James M up above and didn't know the spells have to effect you..... drat! If it weren't for those darn kids I would'av done it to!
