Looking for cheap Cheat: Divine Might

How could an arcane spellcaster get his greedy hands on Divine Might without multiclassing into one level of cleric. Preferably without losing spellcaster levels. Any ideas welcome.

DOTF: Sacred Exorcist prc.

There's a feat somewhere that allows you to learn a spell that does not belong to your list as a level highr or something like that

Divine Might is a feat, not a spell (you're probably thinking of Divine Power).

I second the S.E. As an aside, it is an incredible PrC for a single classed wizard or sorcerer to take. Out of curiousity, why do you ask? I presume you are playing a sorcerer, since the feat is chr-based. However, if you want extra damage, it seems this is only optimal for a melee build, in which case you are probably going with eldrich knight. If you are going with an eldrich knight and are a sorcerer, the obvious multiclass is paladin, with the stat requirement overlaps.

I have a Pal 2/Sor 4/MotAO 2/E.K. 9/S.E. 3 build that I am particularly fond of if you want to borrow :).

Go as a sorcerer and do some research (consult your DM). Nothing prevent the sorcerer from taking spell from any list. It is stated in the SRD that with some research they can take spell outside the wizard list.

I also remember playing as an NPC, in one of my campaing, a sorceress that was casting cure light wounds, after I saw on the wizards site an example of an 18 sorcerer that had cure light wounds in its first level spell list. Found that very cool and decided to allow my sorcerer to take any spell from any list. Spell outside the normal list required some research though

Empower a bit the sorcerer but I still can control him by allowing or disalowing certain spell.

Up to now I am very happy with the results.

I went to the wizard site and I can't find it. Maybe it was a dragon or something which has access to both arcane and divine magic.

I guess my post should be put in house rule.

Also, as was stated, Divine Might is a feat, so all the research in the world won't help a sorcerer qualify for it unless the DM lets him research and learn ho to turn undead. :)

In Dragon 305 (March 2003) there is an article called "Faith and Honor - Piety for Non-Clerics". In this there is a feat called "Divine Channeler", which allows you to turn or rebuke undead once per day as a cleric half your character level. To take this feat you must have a parton deity and you must already have the feat "God Touched", from the same article. This feat gives you a +1 luck bonus once a day to one die roll, if the action deals with something in relation to the gods portfolios.

So this is a semi-official way to take Divine Might with a sorceror, but I'm not sure it's worth it. You must spend two feats to be able to select Divine Might.
