Here's a place to perhaps start the campaign:
Check out: Living Forgotten Realms
There are 3 epic adventures available so far, for level 21, 22 and 23. They were written by one of the fellows who frequents these boards, though I can't quite remember his username atm.
You'll see under Recent Adverntures:
EPIC3-1 The Glorious Hunt by Dave Kay and Chad Brown Level 21 ONLY
EPIC3-2 Cracks in the Crimson Cage by Dan Anderson, Dave Kay, and Keith Richmond Level 22 ONLY
and under Newest Adventures:
EPIC3-3 The Tangled Skein of Destiny by Larry DeLucas, Keith Richmond, and Thomas J. Scott Level 23 ONLY
They are freely available to download as well which is pretty darn awesome.
I haven't run them, I've only just reached Paragon lvl with my group but they sound pretty epic from the blurb, rescuing gods and pursuing Lloth the spider queen down into the Demonweb. I've also read fairly positive feedback from those who have looked more closely at the adventure. Though it is Forgotten Realms stuff, it's a very simple matter to refluff relevant details to fit into whatever campaign your group is running.
You've certainly got the rough end of the stick having to first time DM straight at epic level. Hopefully these 3 adventures will be enough for you to get your feet wet and give you inspiration as to where and how to take it from there with your own imagination. In any event, good luck!
