Round 2

Seeing the enemy prepare for battle, Thorn snaps his longspear forward into one of the advancing humans, catching him in the side of his head with the shaft and knocking him out cold.
"If you want it the hard way…" tells Gloom to the human. He starts to gather his rage and slam the flat of his blade on the side of the head, hitting him solidely. "You want more?"
Gellan shrugs at Minharath. "We tried," he says before moving into the storeroom. A quick lunge at two of the remaining humans comes up short, however.
Zharne transforms and rushes forward and fires a blast of insects against their enemies. One of the ragged humans drops to the ground in an attempt to dislodge the swarm of insects, while the other two seem only slightly distracted by them.
Minharath moves down the stairs to a point where he can see all his allies.

The remaining scruffy human steps behind Gellan and takes a swing at him with his club catching him on the shoulder.
The two Goblins with shortswords advance; one flanking Gellan and stabbing him in the gut while the other goblin charges towards Zharne nicking him with his blade as well.

The goblin down the hall begins moving towards Thorn, and then charges him, but his small sword fails to hit the target. Meanwhile another goblin appears down the hall and begins to approach.

Stan picks up his mace and steps to the side of Gloom and takes a swing at him, but misses.
Zogg hurls a poorly aimed hand axe towards Zharne and then moves to the side, drawing another handaxe as he does so.
Mutt chucks a javelin towards Zharne, the projectile barely missing, and then he scurries back behind some crates.

"I'll take that as a yes." He swings at Stan really hard on the other side of the head, giving him such an headache that he will remember for a long time. Gloom move closer to his companions and shouts. "Face me or flee, unless you want Lauto to take your soul."

Gellan winces as he is surrounded by enemies, then tries a quick stab towards one of the goblins, who dodges. Growling in frustration, Gellan bursts into motion again, slamming the hilts of his weapons into the faces of both goblins, then spinning around the shabbily-dressed human while tripping him up so that his head slams into the stone floor. One last step puts him directly behind the human entangled with Gloom. "I hope you appreciate the restraint, priest!"

Action point, Standard: Attack Goblin C1 *again* with Whirling Rend. Hits this time with a 19. Goblins C1 and C4 are both dropped (damage rolls here, not that it matters) and knocked unconscious.
Free action: Use Whirling Lunge to shift to D-13 and deal 3 damage to Human R1, knocking him unconscious as well.

Goblin C1 quickly shifts to H14 as Gellans first attack misses as an immediate reaction.

Gellan you can change your action point action if you'd like, targeting Human R1 instead of goblin C1, or something completely different if you'd like.

EDIT - OK it looks like Zharne will take care of that pesky goblin C1 with Swarming locusts anyway....
 



"You hope I appreciate your behaving like a civilized being rather than a wild beast? Well, I'll admit it's a nice change." Minharath says under his breath. He stands half-obscurred behind the corner, minimizing his exposure to the enemy, while keeping an eye on his allies.

[sblock=Actions]I'm going to use the condition "Civilized" to represent "anyone who has not dealt lethal damage since Minharath last threw a fit. Lauto's own actions, as described above, do not remove the Civilized condition.

I'm readying an action to cast Healing Word on the first Civilized ally to become bloodied. I'll write a thematic in when it happens.[/sblock]
 

As Thorn sees all his foes drop in front of him, he rushes forward to battle one of the leaders. His mighty thrust hits the mark and the axe-throwing goblinoid takes a deep puncture in his shoulder.
