Lost 2/16/05 Spoilers!!!

A total aside...

As luck would have it, I missed this week's episode...

BUT, my wife's uncle and his fiancee (who happens to be a friend of mine from high school) are buying the house of the actor who plays Locke here in Maryland. How is that for 6 Degrees?

yeah, Hurley might be a gamer like us... or one of those MMORP people....

I've thought about that, especially with his comment about 'I've been known as a warrior' or something like that. Some people in our gaming group are betting he's a software magnate or hacker, or that he's just played a ton of online games.

This was a good episode, but it had a rather large plot hole. Before "Sawyer" shot "Frank Sawyer", it would have been reasonable to think that he would first actually ask "Are you Frank Sawyer?". That would have cleared up everything. It's rather unreasonable for Hibbs to believe that Sawyer wouldn't ask this simple question before killing a man.
I was expecting a big confrontation. Something along the lines of Sawyer saying "Ever been to {murdersuicidetown}, TN?" "I'm sure you know it. You were screwing around with a woman named {sawyersmom}?" and then handing him the letter and forcing him to read it at gunpoint so he'd know why he was being killed.

It didn't work out that way though.

IF Hugo is a gamer, and we see him playing, I fully expect to see a wheelchair in the background... Remember, Locke is "The General"! ;-p

Interesting but not terribly exciting.

I think this is an exellent summary of the episode.

We get to know some new stuff about Sawyer while he´s chasing a boar cross the island.
Yawn.
Typical filler episode.
Great show so far though, I wish that JJ could do some quality writing on Alias, season 4 has not been good.

I don't know if he is, I mean I would have thought they would have shown something by now, like finding his dice bag or game books! Which would rules around the old camp fire!

As island Sawyer comes up behind the guy, he yells, "Sawyer!" and the guy turns around. Of course, I'd turn around too if someone came up behind me and yelled something, but I'm thinking island Sawyer thought the guy was turning around cause he heard his name called.
