Lost 5/2/07 "The Brig" (spoilers)

It could also mean that the Others have significant resources off-island, and used Locke's file to find out about his father, and Benry decided to have someone track down the dad, fake an accident, and use a fake ambulance crew to kidnap him.....all in order to get leverage over Locke....

He did say the paramedic smiled right before sticking him with the IV.

Dun dun DUNNNNNNNN!

I don't think the island made Kate stupid....I think *love* made her stupid. Her whole little thing with Sawyer seems almost like he's "seconds" for her. I still think she wants Jack, and her whole thing with Sawyer almost seems like retaliation because Jack is spending all this time with Juliet. For that matter, given that she knows (from Juliet) that women who get pregnant on the island all die, you'd think that she'd be keeping her clothes on when around Sawyer, since there is no birth control, and apparently pregnancy is a death sentence...

Banshee

Yes, she ran to Jack and told him about the helicopter girl, as a way to try to win Jack back

My mother is convinced they are all dead and in hell.

The writers/producers have come out publically and said that they are not dead, or is some kind of hell/limbo/purgatory.

They also said everything has a scientific explaination. I'd like to see them explain the smoke monster... I think they mean science-fiction explaination personally...

The woman never said anything about any debris or wreckage being recovered, only that the plane was found. That was also likely part of the hoax, just an press release and photos of the plane down there in Davy Jones Locker.

Why would they (or we, the audience) even trust what Naomi is saying? At this point, every new character that is introduced has to be suspect. So she said that the plane was found and the bodies as well. Why would we trust her about that? She could be making it all up. Just another other...

True, she seemed to know about Desmond and Penny Widmore, but then, the Others know that Sawyer shot a man in Australia. They seem to have a lot of info available to them, especially info that you would assume no one was around to see/witness.

So I am not 100% sure if I beleive anything this "Naomi" person is saying.

Remember, she also said to eye-patch man "I am not alone". She said this last episode, in Portugese. He told Hurley that she said "thanks for helping her" or something like that. And eye-patch man was anxious to leave at that point (perhaps to meet up with the other people she came with).

My new "theory" of the hour...

What if it's not so much the island that has magical healing powers, but Locke! Or at the very least, the island in conjunction with Locke. Think about it. He was able to heal himself from paralysis when he hit the island. Everyone around him seems to be cured (Rose of her cancer, Jin of his sterile-ness). Even Benry who was confined to a bed and a wheelchair can not walk with a cane when Locke came around.

There was something in that episode that gave me the idea that perhaps Locke is the key, not so much the island. Maybe it was so much talk of him being "special".

What if Benry was once special, and the island has given it's "power" to Locke, and Benry is now jealous...

Anyway, just rambling :)

I also thought it was a nice touch to show Sawyer vomit after killing "the real Sawyer" (aka Locke's dad), just as he did when he killed the innocent person in Australia (whom he thought was the real Sawyer/Locke's dad). Kinda shows he's got a little humanity in him FWIW.

Well, what the writers/producers "said" has long since proven to be... ahem... "incorrect". (smoke monster, Desmond seeing the future)

I don't think she knew who she was talking to when she said that.

Locke's got a snow globe? Maybe this is all part of the RPG setting he is creating? :)
