LOST; Season 3; Ep. 2

I seem to be going against the grain but I hated this episode. The losties featured here are a bunch of morons and I have lost (so to speak) any intrest in them. I will watch next episode to see what happens back at the hatch but the others can go ahead and kill thier current captives at this point for all I care. I was thinking I would make it through the 6 episode mini-arc before deciding if to continue but after this episode I am not sure if I will make it that long.

Seriously? They're morons?

I'm pretty sure Jack, Kate, and Sawyer do realize they're being manipulated. As for Sayid, he wanted to capture Others and interrogate them. How should he have done it? In hindsight, I suppose setting up the signal and then staying on the ship could have worked, but there were three of them against an unknowable number of Others. Now true, optimally he would have gone back to the main group of lostaways, recruited some folks, and gone hunting, but his plan wasn't moronic.

Honestly, the main flaw is that Sayid shouldn't have left the keys in the ignition of the boat.

I thought it was a good episode.

I don't think any of them are morons. But I want to see some defiance from Jack and Kate, something like what Saywer did with the water, the kiss and the fight. I want to see them call the Others on the fact that its all just mind games and conditioning.

Jack kinda did with the "You'd tell me if you wanted to" bit.

I totally agree, it seems their IQ is dropping like rocks, why wouldn't Jin say that they had a boat? Its not like its something he would forget quickly and anyone with an iota of brains would realise that they would sail to wherever they need to go if its connected to water.

It seems to me that Kate is working with the others and is helping study Sawyer for whatever reason.

If Jack actually believes Ben/Henry then he is the dumbest person on the planet.

They sent them off an a boat, it looked like the Other's boat but who knows.

Will the test Jack by asking him to fix the Other woman that got shot? I can see them try something like that.

I think the shot blonde is the person that came between Benry and Paulette - Plot point now is that Jack has to save her but the price...

I think all of them know they are being manipulated but then what can you do about it. Interesting that they had Syhid explanned it to the viewer, I thought it was rather up front.

Benry looks soooo pissed when Jack did not shake his hand.

Sawyer, should have just shot the bitch, fastest draw, drop the cap!

Syhid, I think he knows the island has spying devices but I think I would have been looking for a hatch on that dock. I would not be surprised to see him off on his own map quest after he drops Jin and Sun off at the camp. Yep, he knew the others had a boat from Sawyer, Jin and Micheal, he did not know Micheal took it, so should have planned for it.
