LOST; Season 3; Ep. 2

I think he realizes it is at least limited, supply drops and communication.
I'm just saying that it need not be two-way, necessarily, that the automatic drop that we saw the Swan get could be all the Others are getting, too. A satellite dish and a vcr provide access to everything Ben said.

Then how are they getting the informaiton on our castaways? And are all the Others memorizing all the info? There is still what 40 crash survivors? That's a lot of info on a lot of people to have gotten. Or are the Others just lucky that they only encounter people they know about.

A lot of information but once the castaways started to form groups, you saw who mattered. Jack, Locke, Sawyer, Hugo, Kate, Syhid, etc. set up a org chart their you have it.

Knowing Sawyer's name is interesting, but I put that down to spying devices but could show very good resourses on the outside.

I am beginning to accept the fact that they knew everything about everyone before they ever crashed. AFter the crash, the "lists" were to determine who survived and whose files could be scrapped.

I thought it was a good episode. It showed Sawyer was not just going to sit back and take it. Starting the fight was a good way to test the others limits. Jack does seem like he has already given in, and is just going through the motions of rebelling. I liked finding out more about Jin and Sun's past, that she is not a perfect person. For me, the flashbacks have always been a positive in the show. Sayid got put in his place. He was totally outsmarted by the others. As for how they got on the boat, when you see them boarding, it looks like they are stepping off the dock.

With the pearls there I thought it could be Sun so when they were in the boat and the girl was saying you won't do it I was thinking, oh yes she will this is not the first time. I almost expected Sun to actually come out and say something along the lines of, I have killed before. Remember as well at the very begining in the flashback were Sun had the maid fired to cover her own but.
Personally, I didn't get it at all that Sun had pushed the guy out the window. My first thought was that her dad had sent a backup in case Jin failed to do as he was told. But after I saw the pearls, that thought changed to the likelyhood that he had jumped and killed himself in remorse. Made more sense to me at least.

A good episode overall. Not spectacular, but good. Loved Sawyer starting the fight just to case the abilities of the guards. Talk about a con man! Also was so proud of Jack for not shaking Benry's hand. Not giving in yet at least. Also neat to see Frenchie's daughter conspiring with the enemy. Methinks the Losties have an ally...

I also noticed Sawyer looking at his and Kate's captors quietly discussing about Sayid having a boat, and thought to myself that a con man like Sawyer might well have learned to read lips at one point in his life. That would be a pretty valuable skill for a con man to have, I would think. So, do you think Sawyer knows that there's a group of his friends trailing them by boat, and is he anticipting rescue pretty soon? (Of course, if that was the case, he'd possibly have blabbed it to Kate when they were back in their cages.)

We know that the cages are being monitored, so the other could be one step ahead of what ever Sawyer is planning

I'm getting a bit frustrated with how easily the Others outwit/outmaneuver the Losties. They have to have some serious surveillance systems at their disposal to always make the right move to thwart the Losties.

No kidding.....the last two episodes, I've been starting to get really aggravated. I hate that the Others are always one step ahead. When Sawyer got that machine gun, I was practically shouting for him to start shooting people.

Same think with Sun. At least she got one of them. But sure bet, the girl won't end up dying, unfortunately.

And why does it always take the Others an hour or less to reach any spot on the island while it takes the Losties forever to go from place to place?

They've got maps, the Lost don't...

Sounds like the monster comes back next episode and eats someone..

I may be jumping the gun here, but I have some interesting news on Episode 6 (like I said, jumping the gun) that I wanted to share. I will spoiler tag it for those that do not want to read it...

Spolier: Episode 6 is Kate centric, we see her getting married... She is getting married to Nathan Fillon (who plays Malcolm Reynolds in the TV series Firefly and the movie Serenity). How cool is that!?!?!

Your spoilers are showing clear as day on my screen... :(

Next time try using
The REAL spoiler tags!
Not everyone uses the default color scheme, there is a light one ya know, and a PHB themed one. Both use black text so that when you make the text black as a spoiler is only works on the default setup.
