The slight, dark skinned girl approaches the ship and confidently mounts the gangplank, after asking permission to come aboard. She eagerly takes a pastry from her red-headed companion, thanking the other girl profusely as she looks around the ship in curiosity. "My thanks, Lady Charity . . . I adore Gnomish cooking! I also did a little shopping; one always ends up needing something on these little adventures, and doesn't have it. However, I feel fairly well prepared."

Devlin approaches the platform with the ship with Molly in tow. "Hmm, this could prove to be an issue." Tethering Molly to a hitching post he approaches Mr. Hans, but not before grabbing a pastry from Charity. "Thank you Charity. These looks delicious!" He walks over to MR. Hans. "Good morning sir. We may have a slight issue. Is there a possible way to get my horse on board the ship as well? I can not leave without my provisions and as you can see from my small stature, I would be unable to carry all of them on my own." He indicates Molly on the dock below and gives a questioning look."Perhaps the Captain is around and I could get some assistance from him to have her brought aboard and stowed somewhere?"

Yosephus boards the ship and nods to Hans. "I am ready to depart when you are. If you will point me to the cabins I will stow my gear." He looks at the other three and then back at Hans. "I suppose that I will bunk with Devlin and let the woman have the other cabin. Agreed?"

Hans looked at the shaggy pony with the riding kit. The animal was not as large as a horse and that wound make a difference.

“Let me check on that.” he conferred with the ship’s master and soon the crew started rigging a cargo hoist to be able to lower the pony into the cargo hold for transport.

He informed Devlin, “You will have to be responsible for your mount during the passage. The Sailing Master is if you can keep it calm as they lower it down below and get the pony settled in.”

“We shall be getting underway as soon as you are ready.”

Aishe walks the ship; she's not particularly knowledable in maritime matters but figures it won't hurt to start familiarizing herself. As she walks, she keeps an ear open to the sailors' talk as well. When she takes in the 'accomodations,' she pauses and then smiles sardonically. "Yes, this will do nicely."

Charity, Human Female
Tasty pastries passed out, Charity turns her attention back to Hans. "Yes, I think I'm ready," she begins, oddly almost walking off on him as she does, her eyes scanning the ship as she does. "Oh, and the rooms seem fine to me. It's what I would have suggested," she adds, clearly as an afterthought. Pacing up and down the ship and scanning her surroundings, the flame haired Venzan seems intent on something, but doesn't elaborate.

Devlin nods his head in agreement with Han's words. "That will be most fine. He should be no trouble at all. He is trained for combat and thus a simple lifting wench should not give him much trouble at all. Come Molly!" He then guides Molly over to the crane and helps get her into the hold.

"Now, let us be off on this grand adventure my friends." He says as he heads towards his room.

~ Day 3, Noon: Hans's Ship ~

The ship itself was three-masted sailing vessel with three decks, and raised quarterdeck and forecastle. The ship had a fatter, rounded hull designed for carrying more cargo in the lowest deck. Your cabins were on the crew deck in the middle, just below the main deck, requiring you to go down below via a ladder. The passenger cabins were beside two officer cabins.

The pony rigged up by a few sailors. Soon it was hoisted from the pier, into the air and then lowered all the way through the cargo hatches into the lowest deck.

With passengers settled on board, the sailors followed the mates’ orders and the ship became a bustle of activity as lines were hauled and cast off. The ship drifted away from the pier and one sail was raised to help provide some steerage to turn the vessel away from land. Once clear another sail was raised and slowly your passage had begun.

Once clear of land, the ship settled on a straight course and the crew broke up into watch teams. Things settled down and you were allowed to roam the decks freely without much worry about getting in the way. The Sailing Master authorized you to even come up on the Quarterdeck if you wanted, stipulating that they were not too busy tacking at the time.

After a few days, Hans invited you to the largest cabin. It was the one under the Quarterdeck, on the Main Deck. It was as wide as the beam of the ship, with windows across the stern and side bulkheads letting in plenty of light. Hans had a small desk and table able to seat 6 in the cabin. He had a meal served for all of you, one that was better than the standard fare everyone had been eating since getting underway. Apparently the merchant had some private stockpile of provisions for when he wanted to impress passengers invited to his table.

“I hope everything is well. We are on course and expected to make landfall in about 12 to 14 days, depending upon the wind.”

“Have you thought about how you want to get started on the endeavor?”

Charity, Human Female
Charity seems to be in good spirits the day Hans issues the invitation, after a rather rough start. It is readily clear the young Venzan has never traveled by ship before, and she has some difficulty compensating for the natural rocking of the vessel as it cuts through the water. Even during the meal, she seems a little uncertain, keeping her food and drink close at hand in case of a strong wave.

Asked the question, Charity looks up and thinks a moment. "Hunh. Well," she begins, filling time with words as she completes her thought, "I guess we'll need to get information once we get there. We will need to know where all the major actors are, most notably the Queen herself. We'll have to check base assumptions about what is going on, such as who is in charge, and things of that nature. We'll have to be straight on who we are, and what we are doing, surely we will be asked. I'm not too keen on passing on a complete fabrication in that regard, but omitting details that would lead to unnecessary confrontation seems wise.

"Ultimately we can then plan for how to accomplish our goals. So far we have the removal of one, maybe two women from power and the rescue of a third from prison. That's a lot to handle, particularly with no two targets likely to be close to each other."
She stops waits for her compatriots to speak, taking a drink and setting the mug onto the table, more towards the center than typical.
