Autumn screams as she rips out the two arrows that struck her, and realizes that her pursuit will be in vain. Out of spite most bitter, she draws and fires an arrow on the off chance the arrowhead finds purchase in the Harran elf. She doesn't look to see if it hits, and begins to hustle back to the group.

On the road to Kingsholm


Autumn makes the quick jog down the road to return to the rest of her traveling companions. The Harran hounds are all dead and Raellynn run off and, for the moment, the group is alone on the Silver road. As the mist breaks apart, losing cohesion with the lack of supporting magics, the pixie tugs on Levanna's hand, pulling her from their hiding spot in the bushes. He looks around sadly, at the dead hounds and the strangers nursing wounds on his account.

"I'm sorry to have drawn you all into this. I understand if you wish me to be on my way and leave you all in peace."

The pixie, whom Levanna knows as Etan Greenwing, stares at the ground awaiting the group decision. His iridescent wings droop and he scuffs at the dirt road with the toe of his tiny shoes.

GM: Combat over! I'll get xp updated and posted later tonight.

Rak'Tan walks over to the pixie and crouches down closer to the pixie's level. "Are you okay little one?"

Arradon Delgaran

Arradon wipes his dagger on the hound's white fur, and the dagger disappears up his sleeve with a metallic click. He strides over to the pixie sulking in the road, his manner is vaguely reminiscent of some territorial predator. He passes the crouching Rak'tan and roughly grabs the tiny creature with a black-gloved hand, pinning his tiny arms to his sides. Bring the creature up to his eye level his piercing green eyes meet the pixie's, "Why here? Why us?" His voice is hard and unyielding with a tone that cuts deeper than any knife.

"Yes," begins the pixie in response to Rak'tan's question. He doesn't get any farther than that when Arradon snatches him up and holds him suspended in the air, pinned. The pixie's eyes widen in fear. "Chance! I don't know!" Arradon can feel the fey tremble in his hands. "The Lady's lake is near here; my home."

"Unhand him this instant!" Levanna cried indignantly and with some alarm after recovering from her initial shock. She took a step forward and reached for Etan, trying to take him away from Arradon.

[sblock=OOC]She's going to try to take the Pixie away from Arradon. However if he resists at all, she can't possibly overcome his strength and would not want to try anyway for fear of hurting Etan. So she would not try to wrestle with him or anything.[/sblock]

Silver Road

Zinnelis looked up as Aelspeth directed her mount over to him. She held out a wand to him, some rather familiar.

“My thanks,” the elven ranger said, taking the wand. “You may be right, Aelspeth, but I still believe getting to Kingsholm as quickly as possible would be wise. He would not be unwise to merely follow the road after us, or cut around ahead. He knows our destination.”

Zinn tapped his neck and shoulder with the wand, sighing as the pain faded and his injuries healed. He picked up his sword and cleaned it on the grass before sheathing it. “Thank you,” he told Aelspeth, handing the wand back to her.

A commotion amongst the others brought his attention back and he saw Arradon manhandling the pixie, and a distraught Levanna.

“Put him down,” Zinn said firmly. “It is not his fault we were traveling along the road at the time he needed our assistance! He will answer questions much more easily if he can breathe.”

Autumn runs to back to the group. From a distance, she sees all of the hounds are gone. Her approach begins to slow down, until she realizes the horror of watching Arradon and the pixie. She draws an arrow and commands forth in what she assumes to be his native tongue. "Tawo sa lasang, ako nasayud nga kamo! Mao ba kini kaninyo sa pagpadayag sa imong tinuod nga mga katuyoan? Hunong karon sa atubangan ko ang dugang nga aksyon!"

Arradon makes a sound of disgust and tosses the pixie to Levanna. "Your naivety will damn us all." He turns his gaze to Autumn, "Ibutang kini. Ikaw naghunahuna nga ikaw pud buhi pa kon gusto ko sa pagpatay kanimo?" His Inner Sea is flawless. "You have no idea what has begun here." He stalks off, putting some small distance between himself and the others.
