Kingsholm/The Coronet and Cabbage inn

Ian Turbrand frowned. 'They claimed there were tunnels under the mausoleum. They was pretty insistent and Captain Desarna had to escort them out of town.' Turbrand seemed conflicted and finally burst out, 'This ghost business has some people spooked. You figure out what's going on, well, the town council might be able to scrape together a reward.' Having said his piece, Turbrand turned and hurried to the kitchen to fix those traveling meals for the group.
Etan looked wide-eyed up at Zinnelis. The thought of taking possession of the Heart again visibly drained the pixie's good spirits. "I would like to come with you." He swallowed a bite of honeyed bread but with considerably less relish than before. "But I've passed the Heart on and I don't think it means to return to me." Etan's eyes darted towards the kitchen then he blinked into invisibility again.
Ian returned with a good-sized pack. He was clearly generous with his packed lunch. As the group was readying to leave, the door to the inn opened and a woman nearing 30 years entered. She wore a plain breastplate that had seen some use but was well-cared for and carried a longsword at her side. "Good morning. I am Captain Desarna. Are you the investigators from the Temple?"
Captain Desarna nodded attentively during introductions and had little to say herself until Turbrand was called to the kitchen. "I ask for your discretion in this matter. The town's council is sensitive to outsiders ever since... well, that's not important. Resolving this with a minimum of disturbance would go a long way to mending their suspicious attitudes." The Captain has the key to the cemetery, which she will unlock for them and re-lock when their investigation is complete. She offers to answer any questions but warns them that she hasn't seen the ghost and that any information she has is second-hand and most likely highly exaggerated. She gives a good recommendation of Goodman Titus: he is not prone to tale-telling.
[sblock=OOC]I can answer further questions if you have any. Also, there is little new to be gained in a discussion with Titus (though someone can make a Diplomacy check to see if they can coax out a bit of unusual information from him). Make a Perception and/or a Survival check for the exploration of the cemetery as well and I'll try to summarize; I don't think there is much need to prolong those scenes beyond that unless there is something special that you would like to attempt.[/sblock]
