Pathfinder 1E [LPF] Rodents of Unusual Size

[sblock=Judge's input]Tirgas commands his animal with handle animal. He is +9 with Topaz, so it is an automatic for the tricks the animal knows. (Attack, Come, Down, Track) So, the snake can attack the swarm, taking what movement the snake thinks is appropriate to go attack what master pointed at. With an INT 1, it will go straight forward to attack. It will not attempt flanking maneuvers. Come would be return to master. Down would be stop attacking and stay in the same place.

Tirgas gets a full set of actions. Kick/Stomp is an unarmed strike. 1d3 non-lethal damage and although it normally provokes, it does not with a swarm. the GM has to count lethal and non-lethal damage separately. Unconscious from non-lethal damage disperses a swarm. So, lethal + non-lethal damage combined greater than or equal to the swarm's HP disperses it.

Since Tirgas can "delay" until Topaz has acted according to his orders, he can move into the space vacated by the snake easily. The other option would be squeezing in the square, incurring a -4 penalty to attacks. This case, he is splitting his actions, stomp before, 5' step after Topaz's actions.

Result if I read the map right.
Tirgas stomps diagonally doing non-lethal bludgeoning damage
Tirgas free handle animal action
Topaz moves towards rats and attacks. Full damage because bite is P/S/B.
Tigas then 5' steps the other diagonal behind Topaz creating a hole for someone to step up.

[sblock=ooc]Tirgas has Improved Unarmed Strike, so he is dealing lethal damage.
I don't think that's what I was saying as far as movement goes, but that arrangement seems logical to me so I'll stick with it.
Thanks SK! And I'm glad to hear that your eye problems are getting worked out, Scott.[/sblock]

[sblock=oops]uh yup, rats' turn.[/sblock]
the rats move and swirl about, moving into the vacated spot in front of Dame Morrowgrim. At first they seem like they are going to crawl all over Topaz, but instead they crawl all over Dame Morrowgrim, biteing, and nipping, scratching and squirming and hissing, tangling in her hair and beads!

GM: I need from .. .. ..
Grayn - dc 12 distraction [fort], dc 12 disease [fort] *
Assuming not distracted, AOO vs rats
Assuming not distracted, it is your turn

Cyclopean, go ahead and take your turn too. If Dame M does a conflicting action, we can adjust!
* scratch that roll, I am supposed to roll that!

Tirgas glances at Dame Morrogrim and winces, evidently mortified that he has let the rats get to her. With renewed vigor, he continues to crush the rats beneath his boots. Unable to get a hold of the rats, Topaz snaps at the rodent horde ineffectually.

In the years to follow, the various denizens, street urchins and dock workers that were around the warehouse will talk of what they heard that day. Some say there must be a great beast in the sewers or a bizarre banshee that made its home in a cellar; others claim the entire block was shifting on an underground cavern. If anyone could see what was happening in that cellar, their stories would be no less fantastic.

They would have seen the Dame Morrogrim standing unnaturally erect with her hands clutched tightly at her chest. She was so high on her tip-toes that it gave the impression she was levitating. Her dark hair appeared even darker as all the blood drained from her face. Her eyes were as wide as doubloons and nostrils were flaring wildly. Her mouth opened and closed as she tried to speak.

"Baa!..Geeaa!...Faaaeee!" she sputtered and spit incomprehensibly until the first of the rats scampered to her shoes. Her pupils shrunk and eyes widened, instantly her mouth dropped open and...."gwaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"

Miraculously, she was able to free one finger from white knuckled grip on her cane that was held tight to her chest and make the appropriate gesture that sent a two blue bolts of lightning into the swarm.

[sblock=Attacks]Fortitude: 1D20+1 = [13]+1 = 14

I think I did this right and if the rats don't have resistance to Jolt:

AOO Attack: 1D3 = [2] = 2
Attack: 1D3 = [2] = 2

Sorry if I stole some of the story, my RP streak gets away from me sometimes. :o

GM: i forgot to roll damage too Dame M. Normally, you will need a concentration check at dc 14 . concentration check = d20+ability mod (cha for witches?) + any trait or feat bonus. But this is a swarm of tiny critters. uh [MENTION=6666968]Satin Knights[/MENTION], A question for you. Swarms do not provoke AOO normally, but what if they are ON the caster? [MENTION=6705164]Grayn[/MENTION], I do se it was a cantrip, so you wont 'lose the spell' per se, as you cast those unlimited, but the spell might fizzle harmlessly.
