Pathfinder 1E [LPF] Rodents of Unusual Size

Ru Brike, human ninja

[sblock=ooc][/sblock]

Ru slashes both blades at the weakest looking rat, but as Charity and Robert have both proven, it seems near-death has instilled a valiant survival instinct in the beast. Ru swears under his breath. There's another odd hum in the air, and his blade flashes back out at unearthly speed, though even then he barely knicks the creature.

"Looks like Scar took your dance partner, Red," Ru quips, making a faux-bow as he steps back and offering the line of attack to Charity. "Allow me to make some room." Ru crosses his blades in the air and runs their backs across one another, sending sparks into the air, and disappearing from view along with the brief flash of light from them.

[sblock=ooc]Did R2 make its Fort save vs. Wasp poison? DC 18, or take 1d2 Dex damage / round until it saves (6 rounds).

Okay, let's see if I have my actions right here.

Full attack to take advantage of extra ki slashing:

Wakazashi TWF vs. R3, then R2 if 3 falls; damage (1d20+3=15, 1d6=6, 1d20+3=12, 1d6=5) Regular TWF attacks are misses.

Extra ki attack; damage vs R3 (1d20+5=16, 1d6=1) Ki extra hits for minimum damage. Sigh.

5'step back to Q1 to try to give Charity line of attack for her glaive.

Swift Action: use his last ki point to invoke his Vanishing Trick. Invisible for 2 rounds or until he attacks. [/sblock]

Tirgas grunts his agreement with Robert as both he and Topaz fail to hit the rodents.

While holding one hand over her wound so she doesn't loose any more blood, Sienna fumbles through her pouch with the other to pull out a potion. Meanwhile, the battle continues in front of her.

With the human disappearing, two of the rats gang up on the snake. While one distracts it slightly, the other gets in a viscous bite. Robert is also bitten by one of the overgrown rodents as they continue to hold their line. The druid is proving harder to get too, as the rat going after him has missed again.

[sblock=Combat Round 3]Missed the wasp poison before. That rat failed two saves so far. I NPC'd Sienna with the best course of action for her.

Cocking her weapon into a full strike position, the young guard steps into the swing and powerfully strikes the rat in battle with Topaz, but to no avail. The glaive's blade digs into the far wall, completely fouling the shot and leaving Charity struggling to not fall off balance. "Na lackin' for dancers, Ru!" she exclaims, a note of self-disgust in her voice.

[sblock=OOC]Sorry for disappearing, with the long delay in action, this adventure kinda dropped off my radar. But, I am re-focused and ready for some rat-type adventurin'!

Dame Morrogrim (and that is the way she would prefer to be addressed :p) would absolutely pull her potion out and use it next round. Are you going to consider her still staggered after she drinks the potion or does that condition clear immediately? Thanks for the prompt, but the way![/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Dame Morrogrim pulled the potion on round 2 as her one action, so, she can drink it this round as her standard action. She heals instantly, so after that, she can take a move action to finish her actions for the round. Once she is above zero, she is no longer staggered.[/sblock]

Dame Morrogrim pulls the cork from the bottle with her teeth, uncaring of appearances in her dire situation, and drinks the contents. Healing magic courses through her veins and has an immediate effect. Olkoi flutters above her head, chirping nervously.

1d8+1=9

She leaps to her feet with a cold, vindictive look in her eyes and purposely slides across the cavern to her right.

[sblock=ooc]Move to P0.[/sblock]

2D6+6 = [4, 4]+6 = 14

at least I kill the hell out of that one

After being bitten by the rat, Robert winces from the pain but swings his Greatsword in return, slicing the big Rat infront of him in two.

"Now that's what a body was waiting for!" calls the disembodied voice of Ru. Charity and Robert think they feel the lightest bit of wind move by them, but they see nothing until there is a flash of reflected light on the other side of the rats.

Ru re-appears, his Wakizashi opening up the exposed stomach of one of the rats who was ganging up on Topaz. As that rat sways on its feet with its innards leaking out, Ru slashes out with the second blade at the unharmed rat, but even with the snake as distraction, this rodent dodges the dancing blades.

[sblock=ooc]Move to T0 while invisible to avoid AoO. Then TWF attacks, taking advantage of flanks from Robert on the diagonal and Topaz on the vertical. Only one hits. Le sigh. Well, it's enough to stagger ratty, at least:

Flanking TWF Wakizashi attack; Damage with Dirty Fighter; Sneak Attack damage. vs. R2, then R1 if 2 falls. (1d20+5=20, 1d6+1=2, 1d6=2, 1d20+5=7, 1d6+1=3, 1d6=1)

The attack obviously negates the invisibility, but it served its purpose. :) [/sblock]
