lycanthropic damage reduction

Lycanthropes have 15/silver damage reduction. Does this mean that even magical +1 or higher weapons still have damaged reduced unless they are silvered as well? Or do magical weapons deal normal damage?

By natural, do you mean: not the effect of a spell or magic item?

I assumed that DR of most monsters was an extraordinary ablity. So natural = extraordinary in this context? Or am I wrong about the extraordinary thing about DR?

DR can be Supernatural or Extraordinary. Either way, as long as it is a part of the creature and not the result of a spell or a magic item, they can bypass another creature's weaker DR.

15/silver is weaker than 5/+1. Basically, ignore the number before the slash. 50/+1 is still weaker than 5/+5. You can find it in the DMG under Special Abilities.

Assuming the spell does, yes, that would be an exception. Though you will need to check the spell to be sure.
