[M&M 2e] Red Sands Chronicles. (OOC)

Just wanted to say that I like the simplified conceptual "map" you have going here Relique (Plazza left, right, near gate, etc). Makes it easy to tell/remember who is where without the hasle of moving actual tokens on a grid map -- which, strangely enough, I really like doing face-to-face; has a tendency to get too crunchy in pbem for some reason: people seem to forget to use their imagination! Anyway, I like. :)

OOC: I've been treating each area as being 30x60 feet and 60x60 feet zones. Number 2 has been lumbering around.

Anyways, considering that Brian is Perception ranged he is able to bomb the mutants no matter where he is.
I was more worried about the mutant maybe making a beeline straight for BRIAN -- while Seif patiently waited to be attacked with his back to the whole thing! :eek:
 

Considering how he's been nuking mutants left and right, and deezy been missing almost every round, it probably thought that it would have a better chance against Sahid and Deezy then Brian and Seif.

It's not Deezy's fault! The dice have been REALLY bad! Even with her relatively crappy combat mod, she should have been hitting more often than this!
 

Thought maybe it could have been seeking revenge against Seif for killing its mate/parent during that first attack in the surpise round, but now that I think about it, it probably thinks *Seif* is making the ghosts burst into flame as well! That *would* be a freaking awesome display... :cool: :cool: :)

But you look so cool doing it, Shayuri! :) Maybe you should retool your gatling into an area effect Emotion Control - Shock and Awe power? ;)

Maybe the dice are reflecting some subconscious desire not to cause collateral damage to an innocent settlement. If they were Watchers or Gregori things would be different.

Reconfiguring it to be a flame thrower would work also.
 

Hmph. Some kind of non-targeted area attack might be good, yeah.

Maybe once we have some money and/or salvage, Deez can work something out.

The gyrocannon's supposed to be the heavy hitting attack though. Autofire can be brutal. She just needs to tighten up the accuracy. Maybe the mounting loose, and the gun rattles when it shoots. She could fix that...maybe give it a laser targeting system, or a HUD smartsight...

The main problem with autofire weapons is usually finding a way to get their mad recoil under control. So maybe beefing up the Beast's hydraulic "muscles"/arm infrastructure? Using ejected gas for stabilization would work (bit tricky to implement as a kludge though, more of a design thing). The gatling was probably designed to punch through armored target a la modern attack helicopters as well, so switching to lighter, less powereful bullets could greatly reduce recoil yet be just as effective against "soft" targets... And just THINK what you could do with all those freed-up depleted uranium shells! :devil:
