[M&M2E] Freedom League Unlimited (OOC)

Exactly how much would a cone which is 150 feet long and 150 feet wide at the wide end be able to cover?

some 11,250 sq ft? A lot!

not sure if we've allready gone ahead, but would using precise TK alow me to drop the grenades in multiple places at once with a full round action? (Hover them all in and pull the pins at once with TK)?

You would need area or split attack. Precise will allow a pulling of a pin though.

About how close are we to the nearest supervillain (and who is it)? It's hard to declare actions if you don't know where you can move to. Also, Supreme Girl should probably go first and smash through the doors into the hall, clearing a path for the rest of us :)

There are multiple elevators so anyone with a movement power can get to any baddie in a move action

How many hostages could PL feasibly rescue? If I spend an action point that will double her effective lifting load making a heavy load 200 pounds. Would the number of rescued hostages increase if the circle of fire is somehow removed?

Also PL could drop the grenades if we want a wider spread. Instead of throwing them she could just run to different locations and drop them. They would all hit the ground at about the same time.

It would be better to Power Stunt to move multiple hostages. I will allow you to do the grenade thing within your rapid attack area.

Even better than Extra Effort to double your lifting would be Extra Effort to power stunt an Area Air Control power to lift all of the hostages; however, Air Control isn't Telekinesis and isn't intended to have the same precision, so whether you can safely land that many hostages at once is probably up to h4h. If you can, though, picking them all up and "throwing them" out of the hall seems like a good opening move.

Matt, you can't take 10 (or 20) on Master Plan checks. Also, be really careful about using that Lightning Attack while there are still hostages in the area...

Air control will be a bumpy ride. Better then getting shot or fried though.

Are we getting a surprise round (in which we'd only get a standard or a move action)? I assume there are some closed doors between us and the villains- are there? That and my distance question above are pretty critical if you want us to post actions.

You are getting a surprise round but you will have to get through elevator doors or walls. Multiple ones if you split up and strike from different shafts.

Supreme Girl can see through walls but she cannot Breath through them so you might want to edit your post Bialaska.

I'm going to assume this includes Dragonfist and his lowly Speed 1 power, but if not and I need to set my array to Leaping to get to a bad-guy on the surprise round, let me know.

If I can get to a bad-guy in a move action, then on the surprise round I can partial charge someone from our current location (otherwise I'd need to "leaping partial charge" :)).

Yes you just have to make sure the elevator you attack from is close to the baddie of choice. Which should not be a problem.

Post edited, I thought we had left the elevators. So I'll punch through it instead and then do a super-breath. :)

Ah, thanks for reminding me about the partial charge. In that case, I change Max's first action to partial charging Johnny Reb, and then his regular action being the line attack and go to cover. Since I'm charging and they are flat-footed, I'll PA for 4 the first round.

I won't activate MP during the surprise round, since not everyone will be able to take full advantage of it. I will activate it during the first real round If they are both flat-footed still (or stunned or blinded), I'll PA for 5. Otherwise, I'll just PA for 2.

Bialaska- on a surprise round, you only get a move action or a standard action, not both. At the moment you are punching through a door and using Super-Breath, both standard actions (which wouldn't be legal even in a normal round).

Matt, your save DC should "only" be 36, since you only Power Attacked for 4. I sort of hope Dragonfist doesn't grab the sword because it would probably be a waste of a disarm :)

Can I then simply through sheer brute force walk or fly through the door as a move action or will I simply not be able to do Super-Breath? >_>
