[M&M2E] Freedom League Unlimited (OOC)

You can break stuff as a move action at -5 your str, but in this case it is not worth it as you can only do one standard or move on a surprise round.

If you want to use super-breath on the surprise round you need to surge.

Can I then simply through sheer brute force walk or fly through the door as a move action or will I simply not be able to do Super-Breath? >_>

You can only partial charge into a melee attack. You can't use your SB with it in the surprise round. Since he said we can all move to the baddies in the surprise round, you are best off (if you aren't calling it already) partial charge to attack one of the baddies this round.

I noticed btw that Max is probably the best one to rescue the hostages, so I guess I'll do that on my first full round. He's faster than SG, has move-by-action, and is plenty strong enough (22.4 tons lifting in his melee setting).

H4H, can I in a full round, since I can go a half mile as a move action, grab the hostages, take them to where Stone and STAR are (preferably the safe route if possible), and then come back with Stone, perhaps costing the hostages and/or Stone a move action to grab on instead of vice versa, and letting Stone jump off to attack a baddies as I pass. I'd like to end behind cover, but that might be too much to ask.

How are you going to grab about two dozen hostages at once?

I thought there were only a few for some reason. Never mind then, putting out the fire and then beating down the bad guys is the way to go, unless there is a giant net or carpet or anything else that can grab everyone and remain stable.

Heh. I was going to ask the same thing. Okay I need a couple of things clarified before I can update.

Elric: A charge only allows a melee attack at the end of it's movement. By strict rules interpretation Disarm is not a Melee Attack. This may end up working out for you though as you considered it a "wasted action" so you are welcome to change it before I update.

Bialaska: It seems like you are going to use Extra Effort unless you tell me otherwise before the update.

Jemal & Talespinner: I am going to have to go with my best guess for you actions unless I hear otherwise before the update.

Which will be in 2-3 hours barring connectivity issues. (which I already had some today):uhoh:

What? This may be technically correct (it looks like the combat options that you can use at the end of a charge besides a regular attack say so in the description), but it seems totally bizarre to me. I'll ask about it on ATT. Still, since I already declared and rolled everything let me just punch him instead, for 10 damage (due to the power attack). Then when Arsenal KOs him I can accuse him of "kill-stealing" :)

Edit- I don't think "You can't Disarm with a Charge" is correct, looking at it. For example, Trip begins by saying "You can try to trip an opponent as a melee attack." Likewise, you can attempt to disarm an opponent with an unarmed attack, which is a melee attack; disarm just doesn't have wording saying "you can try to disarm an opponent as a melee attack" because you can try to disarm an opponent as either a melee attack or a ranged attack. But a Disarm done unarmed or with a weapon should count as a melee attack all the same. Still, it's probably to my advantage to be doing damage in light of the ferocious critical about to hit him, so I won't contest the issue further for now.

If someone winds up using the smoke and SG the breath, they should make sure that CG goes before the smoke.

Furthermore, you gave us a window to change some actions, and I pointed it out in that period. The all-at-once rounds and limited-communication nature of pbp makes misunderstandings like this more likely, even when it is not realistic that the PCs themselves would notice. This is especially true when interpreting incompletely-posted declarations into actions.

This is even more true when we are talking about the use of the delay action when we don't even know the initiative count.

Finally, you said that Jemal's actions could be chnaged if you heard before 2-3 hours. I posted in like 20 mins, and Jemal is on a declared intermittent-posting period, which might be a good reason to let someone else point out that obvious need to use the delay action.
