Dragon Fist should be holding Johnny Reb's weapon. "If you attempted the disarm action as an unarmed attack, you now have the weapon."

It's generally better to disarm with an unarmed attack for this reason, since it's a lot easier to move and pick up a dropped weapon than it is to grab it back from an opponent.

Also, how far is Stone from that Gatling gun? That will probably be quite relevant to his action. Lastly, do I need to roll a notice check or can I assume Dragon Fist heard the gunfire?

Edit- it also seems a little strange to me that the force field on the walls is damage-dealing. Hope that's a one-time Complication not something that will trigger if one of us gets knocked back into the wall...

I did miss that part but trust me you do not want it. If you insist I will edit.

He is at the bottom of large steps leading up to the door. Without a movement power he is within a double move away. No charge without some acrobatics up the stairs.

Autosucceed on the notice

Fair enough. I won't grab it. I wasn't planning to use it, but it wouldn't have made that much sense to disarm him without grabbing the thing unless I had an inkling that picking it up would be Bad News.

Yep I explained it in an earlier post that it was a surprise round so if you wanted to do both it would be though a surge to get an extra action.

In a regular round I would have allowed you a penalty of -5 to break something as a Move Action. :)

Oh, okay. Then I'll spend the HP earned on removing the fatigue.

One more question: As best Dragonfist can tell, is he within 200 feet (charging distance) of the entrance where he hears the gunfire coming from and able to get over there on a charge avoiding any obstacles in the way (given that he can hit DC 29 with Skill Mastery on Acrobatics he can probably make any Acrobatics check to clear obstacles automatically)? If so, I'll probably try to take out the gunners on that gatling gun.

There are some large double doors that presumably lead to a large fowyer or entrance hall that is an accelerated move away from you. The gunfire is coming from that direction.
