M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

"Thank you Priska. It was a pleasure to make business with you. I'll try to make some profit out of all that, now that my purse is too light for my taste." Rinaldo make a sign to Eanos and get out of the building. His first reflex is to scan the surrounding, to be sure no one could have eavesdrop the conversation.

Eanos

"Certainly a much more enlightening inspection than we expected, eh Master Rinaldo?" Eanos says once the pair has left the building. "So, then, back to the Inn first, or straight on to check out what our night visitors might have been doing out in the woods?"

"I would like to inspect the house of Basmar, but neither of us are master in the arts of stealth. Mordik have already been spot by them and he seems the best among us. If Iggy was here, we could have use his invisibility spell. I wonder if Ashnar or Tenebrynn could have one. Anyway, I think it would be too late for tonight, it takes time to study. Any, all that to tell that we should get more information if we do it by night.

What annoy me much is we now have hint of what happen behind the scene of Three Rings, but none lead us directly to our interest. And I didn't want to bring the name of our subject to our new friend. He might speak to other for the good amount of money. That's why I ask question about anything. The more general you are, the harder is to guess your intentions."

Eanos

Eanos nods agreement. "I don't really feel closer to solving the murder, no, but I think we got some important information that might be good as we continue our investigation. It's definitely important to know about Arness' magical training. It wasn't something I'd considered, and now I wonder if she was able to detect our coins even though we never revealed ourselves."

The man shakes his head. "I feel like we keep uncovering more rather than fewer options, but definitely any business that requires meeting out in the darkness is something we'll want to look into. Perhaps tonight we should mount an excursion. Or better yet, if we can find a mundane or magical way to find the spot before the sun falls, maybe we can stake it out rather than hoping we can follow silently."

"But we hold no magic, and as far as I know about magic, our friends need some time to prepare there magic before using it. It might take them too much time if we want to do the visit tonight. Maybe if we could contact them right now..." replies Rinaldo

"I think it is a good thing we didn't give the coin to Arness. There is too much things behind the scene on her to trust her for now. I can see more easily how someone in position could take advantage of our client events."

Eanos

"Then we'll have to depend on our more mundane skills, I suppose," Eanos responds.

"Back to the Inn then, or were there other places you wanted to stop? Maybe we can find a way of getting the backstory on the building from some of the employees, see if we get some clues about what's going on with the trap doors without having to bust one open."

"I prefer to see what Tenebrynn and Ashnar will have found to open the trap. The less the people of this town know of our true intention, the better it is. And fr now, I don't see what else we could do. I think we will go back to the Inn, and ask Abraham about who could become an employee in the futur, to stay in character."
