Hey, I have heard that one of Ted Turner's sons is a big D&D player.

ted turner is one of the most despicable men alive today. if he were to buy d&d, i think i would play 3e and buy only 3rd party stuff until he got bored and sold it. i don't know if i could bring myself to support anything put out while would be in charge.

it is..someone mentioned it at a LARP session and it spread like wildfire..no substance to it at all.

The leads I’m receiving from insiders have nothing to do with the Ted Turner rumor or the selling of D&D, but it is believed that the word circling the floor concerning Mr. Turner was an idea started by an out of control LARP.

This whole thing is not only ridiculous, but preposterous.

Why would Ted Turner buy DnD, dimes to donuts say that he has never even seen a book on DnD. Besides, he is way too "jocky" to respect the game or the industry.

If Dnd gets sold, which needs to happen, lets all hope it is to a private investor with a realistic attitude and deep pockets.

Okay guys,

When the rumor about Ted Turner hit, I looked up the guys background.

Basically, what I found is that he's a strict liberal and he's created a media empire that merged with Time Warner back in the mid-90's. He's also a very generous philanthopist.

Okay, so somebody please tell me why he is "one of the most dispicable men alive today", or that if he owned D&D it would be a nightmare.

I like to hear logical arguments to peoples posts, please.
