making a strong character even stronger.

I have a level 8 Orc Barbarian that holds a Keened full blade as his weapon.

His str score is 26 (+18 +4 racial +2 extra points + 2 Bracers of str)

His BA is 8/3

Based on first attack
AB is +18 (+8 BA +8 Str Mod +1 master work +1 weapon focus)

His DR is 2D8 + 13 (+8 Srt + 4 two handing +1 weapon)

Feats: Power attack, Weapon focus, Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Full blade).

Now he does a crap load more damage when I power attack and rage, but these are his normal scores and such. My question is how I can increase his damage on what he has so far. I have to stick to the core books, but I do have the Arms and equipment guide along with Magic Item Compendium at my leisure. My orc is low on gold, so I am not looking to spend anything like 10000g.

Aren't there weapon crystals that add to damage?

The belt that casts Enlarge Person on you 1/day might be useful, as might the Armbands of Might, which add +2 to your Power Attack damage if you take a penalty of -2 or greater.

Collision is a +2 enchantment, stacked on top of a weapon that is already effectively +2... kinda expensive at the level.

Lesser crystal of energy assault adds 1d6 of [pick-your-type] energy damage per hit. For 3,000gp its a lot cheaper than adding the "frost" property to your sword.

You can also look to start going crazy charge build when you take your next feat next level.

Assuming you ever fight two enemies standing next to each other, cleave? The occasional extra attack = more damage. Better for mook fights, of course. What does your DM tend to throw at you?

Also, con boosting items add to rage duration, and hence damage, for long fights.

Perhaps some magical lenses to eliminate the dazzled penalty in sunlight? Does MIC have that?

If you've got reach (large creature, spiked chain) then your enemies don't have to be next to each other. Actually, even if you didn't have reach, you could still hit people on two sides of you...

If the weapon is Keen, then why are you counting Masterworked into the attack bonus, instead of the actual weapon enchantment?

Look at taking on the Feral template from Savage Species. (or look here - Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible) It's a +1 ECL, so it's essentially a level. The link leads to a proposed level progression, not the actual template, BTW)

IIRC, it gives +2 Strength, -2 Dex, +2 Con, -2 Int, +2 Wis, as well as Fast Heal. You can get more bonuses if you take additional "Monster levels" in Orc.

Feral Half-Minotaur Frenzied Berserker.
You're already level 6, so that's the first LA buy off. When you hit level 9, you buy off the second LA.
Enough said.
