[sblock=OOC] Yeah it doesn't matter if they are a little higher, it might help in the long run. But have we gotten the xp rewards appropved?? I would like to have a judge o.k. that before I have your PC's "lvl up" in game. And since no comments on the marching order I guess that is o.k.?? Will push ahead tonight after dinner. [/sblock]

I'm not sure I think we would need a post to have something to refer to. Not like you could use that money down here. We could hold off till you head back to the trade company or a buyer could be found in the inn, either way i will have it added to a side note post next time the party rest in a civilized area. [sblock=OOC]I linked the xp you had given in my mail to the judges. So at least Boddynock and Trouvere are ok with it.

About the crossbow: The judges said it's the DM's call. It's only, so I didn't have to change my official equipment so much. Midias is strong enough anyway and it isn't that much money.

@ the other player's: One level for Midias equals 1 HP per healing for you and one more potential healing spell. With Reis now and Theroc soon to be level up, we should just do it. Only my two cent.[/sblock]

The tunnel is narrow and dark, a thin layer of dust on the floor bricks reveals tiny rat foot prints coming and going. Cobwebs decorate the ceiling here and there, but their residents seem long gone from their sticky homes. A short way in Reis spots another set of bloodied footprints, they are old and have dust over them as well.

The corridor continues straight and unbroken for about 200' before what looks like a small pile of rubble can be seen ahead on the floor. The tunnel continues off passed the small pile of broken bricks.

[sblock=OOC]
Marching order: Reis, Viktor, Dane, and then Midias.
In Hand: Reis=rapier/lantern, Viktor=polearm, Dane=morningstar/shield. Midias= morningstar/shield

@WD go ahead and change the post where you went to the shop and sell the crossbow for half it's book listed price.

@Everyone after level us are done and approved let me know I will go look in on your character sheets. Will level them up as we play adding abilities after certain times in game.[/sblock]

Reis spots the pile of rubble and turns back towards his companions. "Hmm... let me take a look at this. It's probably nothing, but it might give us some sort of clue as to where our elusive friend is."

Scanning the area carefully, he walks forward to take a look at the rubble.

[sblock=Actions]Spot Check: 1d20+5=10
If anything looks suspicious, he will pause. Otherwise, he'll go forward and search the rubble for anything of interest (since it's a small pile, I'll take 20 - it shouldn't be long).[/sblock]

Reis searches the rubble careful using his lantern to full affect shining it this way and that. The pile seems harmless enough and there is nothing but dirt and broken brick about. But the half-elf's keen vision makes the dim lantern light seem like the noon day sun and he spots what appears to be blood on one of the bricks. Close inspection says this isn't a foot print like before but a bold smear as if the brick had been held by a bloody hand. There is nothing else about the pile of broken brick and dirt.

As Midias waits for Reis to search the area he notices the lantern light hiting the peaked ceiling isn't as "smooth" as it was early. Looking harder he sees gaps in the ceilings where the bricks have fallen out and a few other loose bricks seem ready to fall.

Reis straightens up, brushing his hands off and looking down at the pile of bricks. "Well, someone passed this way," he says, shrugging. "Might have been Aedan. Nothing for it but to go on, I suppose."

He continues down the hallway, still holding the lantern up high.

[sblock=ooc]I'm assuming that the whole tunnel is one straight hallway, since you haven't said anything about doors or side-tunnels.[/sblock]

Midias

"Caution, Reis! There are some bricks loose above us." Midias points out, using his morningstar to point at the ceiling, the shield ready to protect his head.
