Standing her ground, Girri yanks her bladed scarf back and tries a modified tactic. Weaving her fingers in the sign of the sun, Girri imbues the tip of the scarf with a light spell and recasts the scarf into the water. C'mon, let it work, let it work. Mother Crone allays said that queer old rune'd light a path in a bit of darkness, just let it work--jess this once. Girri's mouth sets into a hard line and her brow furrows with concentration as she fishes for Karastro and Edlin.
