Manyshot + Rapid Shot

Manyshot is good in surprise situations and when you are forced to move more than 5 feet and still want to shoot. If you find yourself in such situations a lot, then Manyshot is the right feat for you.

In pretty much all other cases, Rapid Shot is highly superior.

I think Manyshot fills a desired niche, which is to say, the Orlando Bloom fanbase. And yeah, the moving and shooting thing.

Greater Manyshot on the other hand, from the XPH, is downright stupid. It reminds me of the barrage of laser-fire from Robotech ships that arcs around and takes out multiple targets even though the guns are pointed in only one direction. It's like the "death blossom" from the Last Starfighter. One release of the bowstring and 4 guys standing around in different places get nailed by arrows.

Two horsemen riding towards him. He pulls out two arrows, and rips off some of the fletching on one of them with his teeth.

He sets both arrows on the string, and shoots; the tampered-with arrow veers, and both horsemen get hit.

If that's not Greater Manyshot, I don't know what else you'd call it... with two targets, it can't be Manyshot.

Yeah, that's what I had in mind as well, but...

I actually was of the impression, that Manyshot can target multiple opponents, if they are close together, but that's obviously wrong.

You're right then, of course, tho it's still not the same silliness that is Greater Manyshot. That scene was at least "remotely believeable" (and quite cool as the whole movie, one of his better movies ).
