OOC: +5 ranged attack before any other modifiers (range, improvised?). He'll spend an AP if the total is between 14-19.

Brelach suspects something's up, and will five foot step backwards and use his detect magic, aimed directly in front of him, to see what information he can gather.

The Deneith soldiers fire more arrows, which strike Arvan and several of the abberant marked soldiers. Arvan takes 1 damage. Arrows v. Brelach, Arvan and Silvanon (1d20+6=13, 1d20+6=25, 1d20+6=7)

The trance is pretty deep, and simply screaming doesn't seem likely to penetrate it. Other things might prompt an additional save, but you've gotten as much benefit from "It's not real!" as you're going to get.
